There are ten Splitter functions in the M language. Most often you’ll find them used as parameter to other functions like Table.SplitColumn for example. That transformation will split a column, adding more columns to the table.

The most popular splitters are:

  • Splitter.SplitTextByCharacterTransition
  • Splitter.SplitTextByDelimiter
  • Splitter.SplitTextByPositions
