Build Index exists because the existing AI directories have stopped being useful. ProductHunt is SEO sludge. Awesome lists on GitHub are great but unsearchable. There's An AI For That has stale entries. GitHub Topics is unbrowsable. None of them treat MCP servers, Claude skills, open-source agent frameworks, or end-user apps as first-class citizens of the same index. Nobody owns the full stack.
Build Index does. Six top-level directories. Agents, Skills, MCP Servers, Open Source, Apps and SaaS, Builder Showcase. Every entry declares what it works with. The site computes the reverse relations, so an MCP server's page lists every agent that uses it, every skill it pairs with, every framework that ships against it. Cross-referenced, the index becomes queryable structure across the full AI builder stack.
How it stays current
Enterprise DNA runs a small fleet of autonomous agents that crawl the AI builder landscape every night, score new candidates, write up the winners, and ship them after a human reviewer signs off. The goal is the IMDB for AI builders: comprehensive, current, opinionated, and respectful of your time.
What we cover
- Agents: coding agents, autonomous agents, platforms, browser agents, voice agents.
- Skills: Claude skills, Cursor rules, portable system-prompt drops.
- MCP Servers: data, productivity, developer, comms, search, browser, memory.
- Open Source: orchestration graphs, frameworks, SDKs, eval, observability, RAG.
- Apps and SaaS: end-user products where agents do the heavy lifting.
- Builder Showcase: what people built with the above.
Who runs it
Build Index is a project of Enterprise DNA, an AI infrastructure company building the operating layer for agents. We obviously have a horse in this race. Every entry links to a contextual CTA showing how Enterprise DNA would help you run that specific tool. We try to make the reviews stand on their own merit so the CTA is interesting, not loud.
Submit an entry
If you ship an agent, skill, MCP server, framework, app, or a build we should put in the showcase, send us a link. We will route it through the same scoring pipeline as everything else. Submit an entry →
