Best for: Independent developers who want Claude below Anthropic's list price for experiments and can live with outages.
Choose something else if: you need to know who you are contracting with, or you need reliability. Its operator's name and address are only available on request, its terms are marked as a draft, and Claude is served through one undisclosed supplier.

Using Kunavo in practice
Where it runs
Hosted. Prompts are forwarded to the upstream supplier and kept only in short-lived operational logs, for under 30 days.
How to install
Sign up with Google or an email link, create a key and top up through Stripe Checkout. Point an OpenAI-compatible client at https://api.kunavo.com/v1. For Claude Code, set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to https://api.kunavo.com and pin the model names its guide lists.

What it costs
Pay as you go from a prepaid balance that starts with a US$10 top-up and never expires. Claude is 30% under Anthropic's list price and GPT 60 to 65% under OpenAI's. There are no free models.

- Failed requests are never billed, and unused paid balance is refundable at any time.
What to watch for
- Served through a single supplier today, so calls fail when that supplier has an outage.

- Its terms describe themselves as a plain-language draft that counsel has yet to review.
A first task to try
Top up the minimum, send one non-sensitive prompt to a pinned Claude model, then check the charge against Anthropic's list price before you rely on it.
