About Graphify

The skill for Graphify, an open-source tool that turns any folder of code, docs, papers, images or video into a persistent knowledge graph. It detects communities and central nodes, marks each link as extracted, inferred or ambiguous, and produces an interactive HTML view, GraphRAG-ready JSON and a plain-language report. The agent then answers questions through query, path and explain tools.

Best for

Developers and researchers working with large codebases or document sets

Use cases

  • Understand a large unfamiliar codebase quickly
  • Find how two parts of a system are connected
  • Build a GraphRAG-ready graph from a document collection

Notes

Why it matters

Agents answer questions about big codebases by re-reading files every time. A persistent graph lets them answer from structure, faster and with the connections shown.

Source

  • Skill file: graphify/skill.md in Graphify-Labs/graphify.
  • Repository: 134,336 GitHub stars, Apache-2.0 licence. Checked 24 Oct 2026 through the GitHub API.
  • Last change to the skill: 23 Oct 2026.
  • This page was written from the skill's own SKILL.md. It is not an Enterprise DNA source review and the skill has not been installed or tested by us.

Pros

  • Very widely used open-source project
  • Honest audit trail for every link
  • Graph persists across sessions

Cons

  • Building the graph takes time on large folders
  • Needs the graphify tool installed

Key facts

What we have checked

Not checked yet. Dated facts such as prices, releases and repository activity appear here once we have confirmed them from a source.

Health and security

Is Graphify looked after, and what do its setup files show

Security check static checks

90 out of 100

Reads what is published about the server: package advisories, licence, secrets in the documented setup and tool permissions. Nothing is installed or run, so this is not a security assessment. Checked by edna-skill-static-v1 v8@92741d162b20. What it checks

  • Medium Reads or points the agent at stored credentials (a credential file in the home directory): graphify/detect.py, line 141, 3 places in all.
  • Note 174 files were not read (over 512 KB, or past the 60 file cap): graphify/extract.py, graphify/extractors/engine.py, graphify/extractors/__init__.py and more.
  • Note 1 of 1 packages are not pinned to one version, so only the malicious packages list was checked for them, not version advisories.
