What the subscription covers
An annual platform around your awards
Award Force charges by plan, with unlimited users. The question is which parts of that platform your programme needs each year.
The annual Pro plan
Pro lists NZ$10,300 annually. This is a published plan price, not an estimate of your account.
Unlimited users
Growth and Pro include unlimited users. Adding a judge is not a per-seat charge.
The branded programme
Pro includes branding and a custom domain, plus multiple active languages.
Configured reporting
Pro includes custom exports and shared administrative views. Those reports remain part of the subscribed platform.
Additional programme options
Multiple chapters and the organisations view are listed as paid add-ons.
Onboarding and larger programmes
Onboarding is offered separately. Premier programmes receive a custom quote.

Each question is answered by the working demo. Award Force also provides judging reports; the owned option lets you change the underlying rules and records.
Switching
How to switch from Award Force
A move involves exporting entries season by season, setting up matching categories, testing the import, and separately mapping any history you want to keep.
- 1
Export a season of entries
Start with one season’s entries. Export what your Award Force account allows, usually CSV or Excel, and check with Award Force if you are unsure about the available options. The documented migration path starts with a season’s entry export. Judging history, files, fee records and external accounts need separate work, so list which of these you want to bring across.
- 2
Set up matching categories
Set up the matching categories in the new system before importing. The free base is for staff-managed entries and one weighted judging round per season. If your programme uses additional rounds, participant or judge access, or integrations, include those requirements in the agreed scope before cutover.
- 3
Test the import first
Run a test import before loading live records. Check that the season and matching categories are correct, and confirm that the source columns map as expected. The importer preserves original fields, including fields without a matching destination field. Treat the test as a check of the entry import, not as a substitute for reconciling records outside it.
- 4
Review import issues
Check the import results for repeated entries, changed rows and invalid rows. Identical repeats are skipped, changed rows stop for reconciliation, and a file with a bad row is rolled back. Resolve changed or bad data before importing again. Review judging history, files and other records separately, since they are not covered by the entry import.
- 5
Run both, then switch
For a short period, keep Award Force available while your team checks the new internal records against the live programme. Confirm that entries, eligibility evidence, panel assignments, scores and recorded decisions are present and usable, and note any gaps that need correction. Switch off Award Force only after you have agreed the checks are complete and know how any remaining participant and judge access will be handled.
Where the real effort goes
The time-consuming work is usually mapping your entry fields and judging rules, deciding which seasons and history to bring, and reconciling judging history, files, fee records or external accounts. The entry import handles one season at a time, not those other records automatically. If Enterprise DNA installs and runs your version, it handles the mapping and reconciliation as part of the agreed setup. Otherwise, plan to do that work yourself.

Questions
Instead of Award Force, answered
Does this cover everything we use in Award Force? expand_more
The free base handles internal entries and one weighted judging round for each season. We build the participant experience, judge access, additional rounds and integrations your programme needs into your agreed version. Bring your current process so we can scope the full move.
What is the bill we are comparing? expand_more
Award Force Pro lists NZ$10,300 a year, with unlimited users. Compare that plan price with your actual subscription and added services. Enterprise DNA charges one setup fee, then a retainer for the agreed ongoing work.
Can our existing entries come across? expand_more
Yes. Export the entries for a season, set up the matching categories and do a test import first. The free version preserves the original fields. Judging history, files and other records need separate mapping and reconciliation, which we handle in the agreed setup.
How do we keep judging fair and decisions traceable? expand_more
The free base records human declarations, eligibility evidence, criterion scores and decision reasons. It blocks scoring until a declaration is clear and blocks decisions until the panel is complete. Your chair still resolves conflicts, ties and final awards.
Who handles privacy and the ongoing work? expand_more
We agree access, backups and record reviews with your organiser as part of the managed version. The base flags missing notice assessments and due reviews; people assess the evidence and applicable rules. You can also run the free version yourself, with hosting and assistant costs separate.
