Instead of Brevity
Stop renting Brevity by the participant. Own your NDIS provider system.
We build your version around your registration groups, your SIL houses and the way your coordinators already work, map your Brevity client, funding and incident exports across, and keep it running for you. One setup fee, then a monthly retainer.
Brevity lists Lite at $4.49 and Business at $6.49 per enrolled client per month, ex GST, with a setup fee on Business and Enterprise quoted on application.

Where the Brevity money goes
A Brevity invoice is a participant count multiplied by a plan
Participants, funding, agreements, shifts, notes, incidents and claims are the records that matter. Brevity prices them by how many clients you have enrolled, then splits the modules a growing provider needs across three plans.
A charge on every enrolled client
Lite is $4.49 and Business $6.49 per client per month, ex GST. Winning a new participant raises the software bill in the same month it raises the workload.
SIL and plan management only on Business
The SIL module, the plan management module and group rostering are Business features. A Lite provider that needs them has to move up to the Business plan.
Your own forms and alerts sit a plan up
The form, report and alerts builder, custom user roles and custom funding sources come with Business.
API access and single sign-on on application
NDIS API integration, Brevity API access, Office 365 and Google sign-on, branch access and advanced auditing are Enterprise items, priced privately. Getting your own data out programmatically is a negotiated extra.
A setup fee to step up
Lite starts with no setup fee. Business and Enterprise say a setup fee applies, so the move to the modules you outgrew Lite for may come with a one-off bill of its own.
Your history in someone else's views
Getting records out means choosing a record view, exporting each list as its own CSV file and pulling reports as PDF, Excel or Word.
What you hold instead
One record of every participant, with the NDIS checks written in
Participants
Funding and agreements you can see at a glance
Each participant carries their funding type, signed agreements and budget pace, so nobody waits for the plan review to learn a budget is under-used.
- check Every service agreement is tracked against its start, end and spend pace
- check Agency, self and plan managed participants are recorded as such, with plan-managed claims routed to the plan manager
- check Under-delivery against an agreement is named before the plan review
- check No participant is charged for: enrol fifty more and the software cost stays where it was
Shifts
A roster that checks itself before it saves
The rules a coordinator usually checks by memory are checks the system runs on every shift.
- check A worker whose NDIS Worker Screening clearance has lapsed by the shift date cannot be rostered
- check No shift is booked outside a signed, current agreement, and no worker is in two places at once
- check A shift does not close without its progress note
- check Short-notice cancellations record their notice and become claimable under the rule
Claims and incidents
Nothing delivered left unclaimed, nothing reportable left open
Each of these is one plain-English question here.
- check A list of every noted shift with no payment request yet, oldest first
- check Bulk payment request files built at the agreement's rate, ready to upload
- check A reportable incident stays open until the Commission notification is on record
- check Rejected claims keep their reason and stay on the list until resubmitted
Ownership
Your records, your rules, your letterhead
Plain records under an open licence, a rule book you can change by describing the change, and paperwork in your own brand.
- check Add a field, a support item or a compliance rule by asking for it
- check Worker files, incident reports and client statements printed in your brand
- check Nothing is ever deleted: participants exit, claims stay, for the seven years the rules require
- check No API tier to buy: the database is yours to connect to

Switching
How to switch from Brevity
A move usually involves exporting the records you need, mapping Brevity’s fields to the new format, checking the import, then running both systems side by side before you switch off Brevity.
- 1
Export your Brevity records
Export the records you want to bring across. Brevity record lists export as CSV, including clients, client funding, client contacts, client goals and incidents. Its reports can export as PDF, Excel or Word. Ask Brevity which other records your account allows you to export, such as workers, shifts, notes and claims, and check whether CSV or Excel is available for them.
- 2
Map and load the records
The free version imports records in a fixed format, so Brevity’s columns need mapping before they will fit. Use the import’s test-run option first to see what would be brought across without loading it. Then load the records you chose to bring. If Enterprise DNA runs the move, it handles the mapping as part of the work.
- 3
Check the import flags
Review what the import calls out before you rely on the new records. The import is also a first audit, so look for gaps such as a shift without a covering agreement or a client with no recorded funding type. Compare the imported records with Brevity, and resolve or account for the differences before your team starts treating the new system as the source of truth.
- 4
Run both systems side by side
Keep Brevity and the new system in use together for a short period. Have your team check that the records they need are present and that day-to-day work can continue in the new system. Use the overlap to spot missing history, field mismatches or rules that need to be adjusted before you make the change final.
- 5
Switch off Brevity
When you have checked the records you chose to bring across and your team is ready to work in the new system, stop using Brevity for current work. Keep any Brevity exports or reports your organisation still needs. Do not switch it off while you are still relying on it to find records or complete work that has not moved.
Where the real effort goes
The real work is usually mapping your own Brevity fields to the fixed import format, deciding which history to bring, and checking what the import flags. The more records and business-specific rules you want represented, the more there is to review. If Enterprise DNA runs the move, it handles the field mapping and checks the result against Brevity before you switch it off.

Questions
Instead of Brevity, answered
Brevity is only a few dollars a client. Why would we move? expand_more
For a small Lite provider it may not be worth it, and we will tell you that on the call. The case gets stronger as you grow: every new participant adds to the invoice, the SIL and plan management modules sit in Business, and API access and single sign-on are priced privately.
Can we bring our Brevity records across? expand_more
Yes. Brevity exports each record list as its own CSV file, such as clients, client funding, client contacts, client goals and incidents. The free version imports a fixed format, so the Brevity columns need mapping first. When Enterprise DNA does the move, that mapping is our job, and we check the result against Brevity before you switch it off.
We run SIL houses and manage plans. Is that covered? expand_more
The free version covers participants, agreements, rostering, notes, incidents and NDIS claims. The way your SIL houses run and how you manage plans is what Enterprise DNA builds into your version, around your own rosters and rules rather than a module switched on by plan.
Our workers use the Brevity mobile app. What do they use instead? expand_more
The free version has no worker phone app today. If your support workers need one to see shifts and write notes, Enterprise DNA builds it into your version, reading and writing the same database your coordinators use.
Does this keep us compliant with the NDIS rules? expand_more
It holds the record-keeping shape the rules describe: screening before rostering, notes before claiming, rates held at the agreement, incident notification before closure and no deletions. Each rule cites its source so you can check it. Whether a particular incident is reportable is still your judgement, and nothing here is legal advice.
Grow your participant list without growing a licence bill
Bring your last Brevity invoice and your participant count. In 30 minutes with Sam we work out what you pay in a year, which plan you are on and why, and what your own system would look like with your SIL houses, your forms and your claims in it. If it fits, we build it and run it. If it does not, the free version is yours to run.
