Switching

How to switch from Market Dojo

The move mainly involves exporting and mapping your bid records, then reconciling the dates, scores and evidence you need before the new database becomes your working record.

  1. 1

    Export your bid records

Use Market Dojo's documented export reports to get the bid records you want to move. Prepare a CSV with one supplier, lot and bid on each row, arranged by supplier and required item. Export what your account allows, and check with Market Dojo if you cannot get the needed records or layout. Choose the history you want to bring before preparing the file.

  2. 2

    Match your fields

Match the headings in your CSV to the fields used by Supplier Tenders. The import can use a mapping for your headings, and it preserves original fields. If your Market Dojo export is pivoted, reshape it first so each row represents one supplier, lot and bid. The example mapping shows the supported structure, not a captured export from a Market Dojo account.

  3. 3

    Preview and load the records

Run the import preview before saving records. Use it as a test run to check that the mapped rows are being read as intended, then fix any mapping or row issues and load them. The import creates draft tenders and refuses changed repeats rather than silently replacing them. Keep the export unchanged while you review the import.

  4. 4

    Review flagged records

Check what the import flags, then compare the loaded records with your export. Receipt dates and lead times stay unknown until you confirm them. Scoring history and supporting documents also need reconciliation before the new version becomes your working record. Resolve missing or uncertain details and verify that the records and evidence you need are available.

  5. 5

    Confirm, then switch off

Keep both systems available for a short period and use the new database alongside Market Dojo for internal evaluation. Compare the records and decisions you prepare. Before switching off Market Dojo, confirm how any supplier portal, reverse auction or required connection will be handled. Supplier Tenders is for internal evaluation after offers arrive, and those other workflows need to be scoped separately.

construction

Where the real effort goes

Most of the work is not loading rows. It is mapping your own headings and rules, choosing which history to bring, and reconciling dates, lead times, scoring history and supporting evidence. The import preserves original fields, but important details still need checking before the new database becomes your working record. If Enterprise DNA runs the version for you, it scopes and maps the exported records as part of the work.

Questions

Instead of Market Dojo, answered

What does the Market Dojo price comparison assume? expand_more

The £24,000 figure is twelve months at the published £2,000 monthly Strategic Sourcing rate, before taxes. Annual billing is cheaper. It is not a customer invoice or a promise of savings. We compare your actual agreement during the call.

Can you bring our Market Dojo history across? expand_more

Yes, we scope and map your exported records. The free version imports bid records after the export has been arranged by supplier and required item. Original fields are preserved. Receipt dates, lead times, scoring history and supporting documents need reconciliation before the new version becomes your working record.

What about our supplier portal and reverse auctions? expand_more

The free version handles internal evaluation after offers have arrived. Enterprise DNA scopes the supplier interface, auction workflow and connections your version needs before agreeing the switch.

Will it choose a supplier or send an award for us? expand_more

A person chooses and approves the supplier. The system checks the required records and preserves the approval evidence. It does not send an award, sign a contract or authorise spending.

Does it prove our procurement is compliant? expand_more

It flags missing declarations, incomplete scores and overdue questions against documented checks. Your responsible person still decides which procurement obligations apply. We configure access, evidence handling and your rules when building your version.
