Enterprise DNA

Instead of monday CRM

Stop renting monday CRM. Own your sales system.

Enterprise DNA builds a CRM shaped around your own sales stages and follow-up habits, moves your monday boards across, and runs it for you. No seat minimum, no plan caps, nothing to outgrow.

monday CRM lists A$19 a seat a month on Basic up to A$45 on Pro, billed annually, with plans starting from three users.

Where the money goes

Every monday CRM plan is a set of ceilings

On Pro at A$45 a seat a month, each person costs A$540 a year. On every plan, the number of contacts, columns and automations you are allowed is set by the tier, not by what your business needs.

group_add

Three seats before you start

Plans start from three users. A sole trader or a two-person firm pays for a seat nobody sits in.

contacts

A cap on contacts and deals

Basic holds 1,000 active contacts and deals, Standard 10,000, Pro 100,000. Grow past the line and the whole team moves up a plan.

view_column

Columns rationed per board

Basic allows 5 columns on a board and Standard 15. Every field you want to track about a deal uses one.

bolt

Automations by the month

Standard includes 250 custom automations a month. Busy months run out, and Basic has no custom automations listed at all.

dashboard

Dashboards and quotes by quota

One custom dashboard on Basic, five on Standard. Quotes and invoices are counted too: 20 a month on Basic, 50 on Standard.

mail

Email sequences one tier up

Mass emails and email sequences are listed on Pro. Teams on Basic or Standard follow up by hand or upgrade every seat.

What you get instead

A sales system that grows without a plan change

Records

Track whatever you sell on

Leads, accounts, people, deals and every call, held as plain records you own. Add the details your sales process actually needs, with no column count to watch.

  • check No ceiling on contacts or deals, whether you hold 500 or 500,000
  • check Add a field by saying what it is for
  • check Every conversation kept against the person and the deal
  • check Pull any list you can describe

Follow-ups

It points at the deals going cold

Ask what needs attention and you get the stalled deals, the overdue tasks and the clients nobody has called.

  • check Deals untouched for two weeks or more
  • check Tasks past their due date
  • check Follow-up emails drafted from the full history, in your voice
  • check Nothing goes out until you read it and send it

Reporting

Answers in place of dashboard widgets

There is no dashboard quota because there is no dashboard to build. You ask the question and the numbers come back.

  • check Pipeline value by stage, raw and weighted
  • check What moved, what closed and what slipped this week
  • check Win rate and average days to close
  • check Questions no widget offers, answered the day you think of them

Ownership

One system, no tiers to climb

The whole team works from the same records. Rules you would have built as automations become plain-language instructions.

  • check No per-seat charge and no minimum team size
  • check Your stage names and your own rules, changed by asking
  • check Open source under the MIT licence
  • check Works with Claude Code

Switching

How to switch from monday CRM

The move involves exporting your sales records, mapping your monday columns and deciding how much history to bring across, so the effort depends on your setup.

  1. 1

    Export your sales data

Export the boards that hold your sales records to Excel. monday’s help centre says updates are on a separate tab, and you can choose whether to include subitems. Have an account admin export the whole account as a zip too. Take both exports before you cancel, and check with monday CRM if your account’s export options differ.

  2. 2

    Map and load the records

monday boards use your own column names, so the export will not import as it is. Map those columns to the CRM’s records before loading. The free version reads a Pipedrive export out of the box, so monday data needs mapping. If the import offers a test run, use it first. Enterprise DNA can map the columns when building your version.

  3. 3

    Check the import results

Review anything the import flags, then compare the imported records with your monday exports. Check that the key people, companies and deals are present, and that the fields you rely on have landed in the right places. Pay attention to updates and subitems if you chose to export them. Enterprise DNA checks the totals when building your version.

  4. 4

    Run both side by side

Keep monday CRM running while you use the new CRM for a short period. Compare the active deals and the information you need to follow up, and check that your team can work with the imported records. This gives you a chance to spot missing history or field mismatches before you stop using monday CRM.

  5. 5

    Switch off monday CRM

Once you have checked the records and your team is ready to work from the new CRM, stop using monday CRM for sales. Keep the exports you took as a reference. You can move just the sales side and leave your monday.com project boards where they are.

Where the real effort goes

Most of the work is mapping your own columns and rules, then deciding how much history to bring across. Updates and subitems are optional in the monday export, so the amount you carry over affects the work. Enterprise DNA does the mapping and checks the totals when you have them build your version.

Questions

Instead of monday CRM, answered

We also run projects on monday.com. Do we have to leave all of it? expand_more

No. You can move just the sales side and keep your project boards where they are. Enterprise DNA can also bring project work into your own database later, if you want everything in one place.

How do we get our data out of monday CRM? expand_more

monday's help centre shows each board exporting to Excel, with updates on a separate tab and subitems included if you tick the box. An account admin can also export the whole account as one download. Take both before you cancel.

Will a monday export import straight in? expand_more

Not as it comes. The free version reads a Pipedrive export out of the box, and monday boards use your own column names. Ask Claude Code to map them, or Enterprise DNA maps them and checks the totals when we build your version.

What replaces our monday automations? expand_more

In the free version, you ask for what you need and it is done, such as listing every deal untouched for a fortnight. In your built version, Enterprise DNA writes your automations in as standing rules, and anything that would email a client waits for your approval.

Is it worth switching for a small team? expand_more

Small teams feel the three-seat minimum most, since they pay for a seat even when only two people sell. Your own version has no seat count at all, so adding a part-timer or a bookkeeper to look at the pipeline costs nothing extra.

Sell without watching the plan limits

30 minutes with Sam. We go through what monday CRM costs your team, which boards and automations you actually use, and what your own version would look like. If it fits, we build it and move your boards across. If not, the free version is yours to run.
