The plans
What MX Deposit charges
MX Deposit lists annual prices for Standard, Shift and read-only Reviewer licences, with tax excluded. Your bill depends on how many people need a named licence, whether two people share a Shift licence and how many people only need to read records.
Standard user
US$3,705 a year
Each named Standard user who logs, imports or edits data needs a licence.
Shift licence
US$5,055 a year
Two people on opposite shifts can share one licence, provided only one is signed in at a time.
Reviewer
US$1,265 a year
This read-only licence is for a manager or consultant who only needs to look at records.
How the bill is built
Named user licences
Each Standard user who logs, imports or edits data costs US$3,705 a year, excluding tax. The bill grows with the number of people who need their own named licence, so a team with more geologists pays for more licences.
Shared Shift licence
Two people working opposite shifts can share one Shift licence for US$5,055 a year, excluding tax. Only one person can be signed in at a time, so it is not a way for both people to use the licence together.
Read-only access
A manager or consultant who only needs to view records still needs a Reviewer licence, at US$1,265 a year, excluding tax. Add a licence for each person who needs this read-only access.
Annual renewal
The listed licences run for twelve months, so the licence cost comes around again each year. Shared and enterprise licences are quoted on request. The listed prices exclude tax.
A year of MX Deposit
What a year can cost
Ten geologists on Standard licences cost US$37,050 a year before tax. That is ten licences at US$3,705 each. It does not include a database consultant, which most junior explorers also retain, or any other costs not listed here. A Shift licence is US$5,055 a year and a Reviewer licence is US$1,265 a year, both before tax.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
Your records in their system
The holes your company paid to drill and the results it reports to the market sit inside a vendor's system. The licence pays for access to that system, while the records themselves come from your exploration work.
A licence for each user
The bill is tied to people who need access. Each Standard user who logs, imports or edits data has an annual licence, and even someone who only needs to read records needs a Reviewer licence.
Database help on top
The licence is not necessarily the whole cost of managing your drillhole data. Most junior explorers also retain a database consultant to load lab files, follow up QAQC and build reports. No consultant price is listed.
The owned alternative
Keep a database you own
Enterprise DNA builds Drillhole Data around how your business runs, brings your MX Deposit data across and runs it for you. It is a database you own that you can use in plain language, with one setup fee followed by a monthly retainer. If you prefer to run it yourself, there is also a free version.
Drillhole Data for Claude Code
One setup fee, then a monthly retainer. No per-seat plans, no tiers, and the system is yours.

Questions
MX Deposit pricing, answered
What would ten Standard users cost for a year? expand_more
Ten Standard users at US$3,705 each come to US$37,050 a year before tax. That is the licence bill only. Most junior explorers also retain a database consultant, so the total cost can be higher, but no consultant price is listed.
Can two geologists share one MX Deposit licence? expand_more
Two people on opposite shifts can share a Shift licence for US$5,055 a year, excluding tax. Only one person can be signed in at a time. If both people need to use the system at once, this shared licence does not cover that.
Do managers pay to view MX Deposit records? expand_more
Yes. A manager or consultant who only needs to read records uses a Reviewer licence, listed at US$1,265 a year, excluding tax. It is a separate annual licence from the Standard user licence.
