How the bill is built
Editor seats
Company charges per editor. The rate is US$90 per editor per month with yearly billing, or US$165 per editor per month when billed monthly. Count the people who maintain product records, not everyone who only views them.
Product records
Data records are priced separately from the subscription. Part numbers, component records and managed design files count towards this pricing dimension, so check how your product data affects your actual bill.
CAD add-ins
CAD add-ins carry a separate charge. Include the design connections your team needs when comparing the subscription price with your full OpenBOM cost.
ERP integrations
ERP integrations are quoted separately. The bill depends in part on which production and purchasing records need to move between systems.
A year of OpenBOM
What the yearly bill adds up to
At US$90 per editor per month billed yearly, 20 Company editors come to the modelled US$21,600 a year for seats alone. That is a model, not a confirmed customer invoice. OpenBOM also prices product records separately and charges separately for CAD add-ins, with ERP integrations quoted separately, so the full yearly cost depends on the records and connections your team needs.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
Editing seats
The Company price is charged per editor, so the bill follows the people maintaining product records. Read-only access is free and unlimited, which means viewers do not add a paid seat under the stated pricing.
Product data
Product records sit outside the editor subscription price. Part numbers, component records and managed design files count towards this separately priced data dimension, so the seat price alone does not show the full cost.
Connections
CAD add-ins have a separate charge, and ERP integrations are quoted separately. You are paying for the connections your team needs as well as editor access and product data.

Do read-only users increase the OpenBOM bill? expand_more
