Instead of Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales
Stop renting Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales. Own your sales system.
Enterprise DNA builds a sales system shaped to your territories, stages and forecast calls, moves your Oracle accounts, contacts and opportunities into it, and keeps it running. No named-user licences and no three-year renewal.
Oracle's global price list puts Fusion Sales Enterprise at US$150 per hosted named user a month, with a ten-user minimum and a standard three-year term.

What the contract covers
An Oracle sales contract bundles licences, a long term and a partner project
On Oracle's published list, one Fusion Sales Enterprise named user is US$150 a month, or US$1,800 a year, and the order starts at ten of them. The standard term is three years, so the commitment is made before your team has used it for a quarter.
A named user for each person
Each rep, manager and sales operations analyst who needs full access is a Hosted Named User. Oracle sells a Limited user at US$25 a month.
A three-year commitment
Oracle's price list gives three years as the standard term for its cloud subscriptions. Headcount changes, territories change, and the contract stays.
An implementation partner
Fusion is configured, not set up in an afternoon. Most companies bring in a partner to shape the objects, security roles and page layouts.
Separate lines for the extras
Incentive compensation, data quality and partner relationship management each sit on the price list as their own subscription.
Reports through the reporting layer
A question that crosses opportunities, activities and quota usually means building an analysis in Oracle's reporting tools, or asking the person who knows how.
History in Oracle's format
Getting records out means setting up export activities per object and downloading ZIP files of Oracle's columns. Your deal history is yours, but it lives in their structure.
What you get instead
The parts of Fusion Sales your team uses, answered from your own records
Quarter view
Quota, coverage and the gap for every rep
Ask how the quarter is tracking and get won revenue, weighted pipeline due inside the quarter, the shortfall and the days remaining for each rep, on one page.
- check Only deals closing inside the quarter count toward the weighted figure
- check Reps below 60% coverage are named while the quarter can still be saved
- check Cycle time and win rate calculated from what your deals actually did
- check No reporting build, no analysis to request
Pipeline rules
Deal discipline written into the system
The checks a Fusion partner would configure as validations are plain rules your managers can read and change.
- check Every opportunity carries a close date, and each stage change is recorded
- check Closing as won needs an amount; closing as lost needs a reason
- check One list of missed close dates, opportunities with no next step and large deals hanging on one contact
- check Winning an opportunity turns the account from prospect into customer on its own
Leads and consent
Territory routing and opt-outs that hold
New leads go to the right rep by territory, untouched leads are counted after three days, and nobody can email a contact who opted out.
- check Leads land with the rep in that territory who has the fewest open
- check One step turns a lead into an account, contact and opportunity
- check Emailing an opted-out contact is blocked under Australia's Spam Act 2003 and New Zealand's UEMA 2007
- check Opt-outs carried over from Oracle are enforced from the first day
Yours
Change it by asking, not by raising a change request
Add a field, rename a stage or tighten a rule by describing it. Account briefs and forecast one-pagers print under your own logo.
- check The whole sales team on the same records, with no named-user count
- check Questions answered that nobody built an analysis for
- check MIT licence, so there is no term to renew
- check Runs with Claude Code

Switching
How to switch from Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales
This is a planned move you run alongside Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales for a while, not a single switchover day, so you can line up the end of it with your contract renewal rather than mid term.
- 1
Export your records from Oracle
Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales exports through Export Management (Tools, then Export Management), which produces a ZIP of CSV files for each object you choose: accounts, contacts, opportunities and leads. Export all four so nothing is left behind, and keep the files somewhere safe until you are ready to load them into Enterprise CRM for Claude Code.
- 2
Map and load the files
Oracle's column names are not the same as what the free version expects, since it reads Salesforce exports as standard. Claude Code can map Oracle's columns for you, or Enterprise DNA maps and checks them when they build your version. Either way, run a test load first so you can see what would happen before anything is loaded for real.
- 3
Check what the import flags
A test load shows what did not map cleanly, what is missing, and anything that needs a decision before it goes in, such as fields Oracle uses that have no match yet in Enterprise CRM. Fix what needs fixing and run the test again until the result looks right, then load the real data.
- 4
Run both systems side by side
Keep Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales running while your team works in Enterprise CRM for Claude Code for a short period. This gives reps and managers time to trust the numbers against what Oracle shows, and gives you room to fix anything that surfaces before you commit to switching fully.
- 5
Switch off Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales
Once the team is working from Enterprise CRM for Claude Code and the numbers hold up against Oracle, let your Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales term end rather than renew it. Oracle's standard subscription term is three years, so plan the side-by-side period to land before that renewal date arrives.
Where the real effort goes
The real work is in mapping your own fields and rules onto the system, not the export itself. Oracle's columns are not the free version's columns, and you decide how much deal history and how many old records to bring across rather than everything. Enterprise DNA does this mapping and checking when they build and run your version for you.

Questions
Instead of Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales, answered
We are part way through a three-year Oracle term. Is this worth looking at now? expand_more
Yes, because moving takes planning. Enterprise DNA can build your version and run it beside Oracle so the team trusts it well before the renewal date, then you let the term end rather than sign another.
Will an Oracle export load straight in? expand_more
Not as it comes. Oracle exports each object as a ZIP of files with its own column names, and the free version reads Salesforce exports as standard. Claude Code can map Oracle's columns for you, or Enterprise DNA maps and checks them when we build your version.
Our finance and orders run on Oracle ERP. What happens to that link? expand_more
Your ERP stays where it is. Enterprise DNA connects your sales system to it, built for the fields your business actually uses.
What about incentive compensation and partner sales? expand_more
The free version covers accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and forecasting against quota. Commission rules or a partner channel are built into your version by Enterprise DNA, one at a time, if you need them.
Our reps are used to Oracle's screens. Will they cope? expand_more
They ask in plain English and get short lists back, which most find quicker. If they want screens or a phone app, Enterprise DNA adds them to your version.
Own the pipeline before the next term starts
30 minutes with Sam. We look at your Oracle contract, the named users you pay for, what your sales team really uses, and what your own version would look like. If it fits, we build it and move your records across ahead of the renewal. If it does not, the free version is yours to run.
