The plans
What Ostendo charges
Ostendo licenses a concurrent user seat at $1,250 each, or $1,000 per user once you have five or more, then adds a Software Annual Licence Renewal Fee of 20% of list RRP every year from year two. On top of that, partners sell separate consulting days for setup, training and custom reports, all sitting above whatever accounting system you already run.
Single user licence
$1,250 list
The list price for one concurrent seat, before any renewal fee or consulting days are added.
5 or more user licences
$1,000 per user list
The per seat price drops once you licence five or more concurrent users at once.
Software Annual Licence Renewal Fee
20% of list RRP
Due every year from year two, to keep the updates coming on software you already own outright.
Implementation, training and custom reports
Quoted privately
Sold as consulting days through a partner, separate from the licence and the renewal fee.
How the bill is built
A licence for every concurrent seat
Everyone who needs the system open at once, the estimator, the office, the store, the owner checking WIP, is another upfront licence at $1,250 single user or $1,000 each once you reach five or more.
A renewal fee from year two onward
A Software Annual Licence Renewal Fee lands every year from year two, priced at 20% of list RRP, to keep the updates coming on software you already bought and already own.
Partner days to switch it on
Implementation, configuration and training are a consulting engagement priced in days and sold by a partner, before the floor ever books its first hour to a job.
Custom reports and the accounting link
The report you actually need is a custom report, which is another visit from the partner, and Ostendo sits on top of MYOB or Xero through a connector the vendor maintains.
A year of Ostendo
No single published yearly figure
Ostendo does not publish one yearly total. What drives the bill up each year is the Software Annual Licence Renewal Fee, set at 20% of list RRP from year two, plus a new licence for every seat added as the team grows, plus whatever consulting days that year needed for training, setup changes or a new custom report.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
Screens over your own jobs and stock
The jobs, the hours, the stock and the invoices are yours. What you are buying is the screens built around them, licensed per concurrent seat, not the records themselves.
A yearly rent on a licence you own
The renewal fee is 20% of list RRP every year from year two, charged to keep receiving updates on software you already paid for outright the first time.
A partner's time to see your own data
A custom report or a training session is a separate consulting engagement priced in days, so answering a question you have about your own numbers means booking the partner again.
The owned alternative
Your own version, built and run for you
Enterprise DNA builds Job Shop for Claude Code around how your business actually runs, brings your Ostendo customers, items and job history across, and runs it for you for one setup fee then a monthly retainer, with no per-seat licence and no renewal fee. An owner who wants to run it themselves can start with the free version instead.
Job Shop for Claude Code
One setup fee, then a monthly retainer. No per-seat plans, no tiers, and the system is yours.

Questions
Ostendo pricing, answered
How does Ostendo charge as our team grows? expand_more
Per concurrent user licence. A single user is $1,250 list, and once you reach five or more users it drops to $1,000 per user. Every person who needs the system open at the same time is another seat added to the bill.
What is the Software Annual Licence Renewal Fee? expand_more
A fee due every year from year two, set at 20% of list RRP, charged to keep receiving updates on the software you already bought outright. It runs on top of whatever you paid for the licences themselves.
Are setup, training and reports included in the licence price? expand_more
No. Implementation, training and custom reports are sold separately by a partner as consulting days, on top of the licence cost and the annual renewal fee, and Ostendo also sits above whatever accounting system like MYOB or Xero you already run.
