The plans

What ResDiary charges

ResDiary sells a monthly subscription with three tiers, priced by how many bookings you take rather than by venue size. On top of the monthly fee sit a setup charge and optional add-ons such as point-of-sale connection, all before GST.

Connect

A$115 a month plus GST

Includes up to 150 bookings a month.

Express

A$170 a month plus GST

Includes up to 500 bookings a month.

Pro

A$220 a month plus GST

Includes unlimited bookings, the highest published tier.

How the bill is built

group

Monthly fee tied to booking volume

You do not pay one flat price. Connect, Express and Pro are separated by how many bookings a month you are allowed, so growth in covers can mean moving to a higher tier and a higher monthly fee.

extension

A separate setup charge

On top of the monthly plan, ResDiary lists a A$129 setup fee, with prices subject to GST. This is charged before you take your first booking on the system.

build

Point-of-sale connection costs extra

Connecting ResDiary to your point-of-sale system is not included in any tier. It is listed separately at A$20 a month, on top of whichever plan you are already paying for.

calendar_month

A year of ResDiary

Roughly A$2,640 a year on Pro before extras

Pro lists A$220 a month plus GST for unlimited bookings. Twelve monthly payments come to A$2,640 a year before GST, the A$129 setup fee and any add-ons such as the A$20 a month point-of-sale connection. Lower tiers cost less a year but cap your monthly bookings, so a busy venue can be pushed into a higher tier as covers grow.

Underneath the bill

What you are really paying for

dashboard

A booking cap that forces you up a tier

Connect stops at 150 bookings a month and Express at 500. Once your venue grows past those numbers, you are moved to a higher priced tier just to keep taking the same bookings you already have.

lock

An operated service, not your own records

The price list includes support and unlimited users, which means you are paying to use ResDiary's system rather than to own the guest history and service data sitting inside it.

history

Add-ons for things already part of your service

Connecting your point-of-sale is not included in any plan. It is billed separately at A$20 a month, on top of the monthly fee you already pay for the booking system itself.

The owned alternative

Own your reservation records instead of renting them

Reservations for Claude Code puts your guest book and service sheets in a database your business owns, run in plain language. Enterprise DNA builds your own version around how your venue runs, brings your ResDiary bookings and guest details across using the booking export ResDiary documents, then runs it for you for one setup fee and a monthly retainer. There is also a free version you can run yourself.

Reservations for Claude Code

One setup fee, then a monthly retainer. No per-seat plans, no tiers, and the system is yours.

Questions

ResDiary pricing, answered

What does ResDiary actually cost each month? expand_more

ResDiary's AUD price list has three tiers. Connect is A$115 a month plus GST for up to 150 bookings, Express is A$170 for up to 500, and Pro is A$220 for unlimited bookings. A A$129 setup fee and add-ons such as point-of-sale connection sit on top.

Do we have to pay more as our venue gets busier? expand_more

Yes. Connect and Express cap how many bookings you can take each month. Once a venue passes 150 or 500 bookings, staying on the system means moving up to the next tier and paying its higher monthly fee, even though the booking process has not changed.

What happens to our booking history if we leave ResDiary? expand_more

ResDiary documents a booking details export you can run yourself. It is how your bookings and guest contact details leave the system. Enterprise DNA uses that export to bring your history into a database your business owns, checking your actual columns and reconciling dates and covers.
