The Wisenet bill
What the subscription covers
Wisenet combines learner administration with reporting and portals. Its plans meter active learners and include unlimited users. Compare the work your provider needs with the system you want to own.
A recurring plan
Starter begins at A$290 a month, Standard at A$500 and Premium at A$770. Those starting rates annualise to A$3,480, A$6,000 and A$9,240 before tax.
Active learner metering
Your learner activity matters to the subscription. Enterprise pricing is by discussion with Wisenet.
Learner and trainer access
The plan summary places the learner app and trainer portal in Standard.
Attendance and documents
Standard includes timetabling, attendance and custom documents in its plan summary.
Workflow and document automation
Premium adds advanced workflows, premium connectors and document automation.
Reports and connections
The comparison marks custom reports and the BI connector as optional. Review these alongside your existing subscription.
The version you own
Start with the work your registrar does every week

Find the learner who needs a call
Combine recorded contact dates with assessment deadlines and trainer responsibility. Change the follow-up rule to match your provider.
- check Quiet enrolments with overdue assessment work
- check The responsible trainer beside each learner
- check Progress notes drawn from recorded results
- check Draft follow-up messages for staff review
Course delivery
Keep assessment and attendance together
Review the evidence and the missing marks before the weekly trainer meeting.

- check Overdue decisions and evidence references

- check Selected Australian and New Zealand record checks
- check Draft progress reports and records of results in your brand

Ten questions to ask across your provider
These questions are answered by the working demo. Wisenet also supports custom reporting; the difference here is control of your records and the rules around them.
Switching
How to switch from Wisenet
The move is mostly reconciliation work done in stages, with Wisenet left running until counts, balances and your weekly review all check out in the new system.
- 1
Export your records from Wisenet
Wisenet exports selected columns as CSV. Export learners, courses, enrolments, results, attendance, fees and credential references, whatever your account allows, usually CSV or Excel, and check the current export options with Wisenet directly. Keep the original attachments and issued documents in Wisenet's own archive. They are not part of this export and need to be kept safe separately.
- 2
Load the export as a test run
Before touching real records, run the import against a test copy first, not your live database. It previews what will come in and shows you what it recognises and what it does not. Only once that preview looks right, and counts make sense, do you run it against the database you intend to actually use going forward.
- 3
Review what the import flags
The import stops on any column it does not recognise until someone maps or excludes it, and it stops on records that look changed since an earlier import, for review. Exact repeats are skipped automatically. Go through everything it flags with whoever manages your training records, and check that counts and balances match Wisenet before you rely on any of it.
- 4
Run both systems side by side
Keep Wisenet running while you use the new records for real, attendance, fees, assessment follow-up, the Monday review. Compare outputs against Wisenet for a stretch of ordinary weeks. Confirm reporting, privacy, permissions, backups and reconciliation all hold up under normal use before you take the new system as the record of truth.
- 5
Switch off Wisenet
Once counts, balances and the weekly routine match what you expect, cancel Wisenet. Before you do, make sure the original attachments and issued documents from Wisenet's archive are saved somewhere you control, since the export used to build the new database does not carry those files across.
Where the real effort goes
The real work is not the software move itself. It is mapping your own headings, courses, trainers and fee rules onto the new records, and deciding how much learner history to bring across versus what stays archived in Wisenet. Flagged columns and changed records need a human decision each time, not a default. Enterprise DNA handles this mapping and reconciliation when they install and run it for you.

Questions
Instead of Wisenet, answered
Is this a complete replacement for our training platform? expand_more
The free version covers learner administration, attendance, results, fees and record review. We scope your portals, teaching platform, government reporting and official credential process before a switch. Enterprise DNA builds and connects the parts your provider needs in the agreed version.
Will our Wisenet history come across? expand_more
Wisenet lets you export selected columns as CSV. We map and reconcile learners, courses, enrolments, results, attendance, fees and credential references. Keep the original attachments and issued documents in their archive. Do a test run and compare counts and balances before switching.
Does it handle our Australian or New Zealand compliance obligations? expand_more
It checks selected identity evidence, completion records and retention dates against cited rules. Staff remain responsible for the decisions. The free version does not submit government returns, verify identities with government services or issue official qualifications. We agree and validate those processes with you before migration.
What happens to the monthly software bill? expand_more
The source is free to use and change. Running it still involves hosting, an assistant subscription and someone responsible for operations. Enterprise DNA charges one setup fee, then a retainer for the agreed service. Compare the full operating cost with your current arrangement.
Can our trainers and learners use it on their phones? expand_more
We can build the staff and learner access your provider needs, including a web front end. The free version starts with operator-led records and read-only reports. We agree access, permissions and mobile workflows as part of your version.
