Instead of Zoho CRM
Stop renting Zoho CRM. Own your sales system.
Enterprise DNA sets up a sales CRM around the way your team sells, carries your Zoho accounts, contacts, leads, deals and notes across, and looks after it from then on. Nothing is held back for a higher edition, and the records sit in a database with your name on it.
Zoho lists CRM Enterprise at A$60.50 and Ultimate at A$80.30 per user per month billed annually (NZ$64 and NZ$84 in New Zealand), and Enterprise at A$77 if you pay month to month.

Where the Zoho money goes
A Zoho CRM invoice is mostly the edition you had to climb to
At list price an Enterprise user costs A$726 a year and an Ultimate user A$963.60, or NZ$768 and NZ$1,008 in New Zealand. The records underneath are the same accounts, contacts, leads and deals on every edition.
Territories behind Enterprise
Assigning records by region, product line or vertical is listed as an Enterprise feature, so splitting leads across reps means moving every user up.
Zia's predictions one step up
Insights, predictions and recommendations from Zia are listed with Enterprise, on top of what Professional already includes.
Approvals and multi-team as extras
Approval processes, multi-team management, a reporting hierarchy and a developer sandbox all sit in the Enterprise column.
Analysis at the very top
Ultimate at A$80.30 adds data preparation for analytics and enhanced feature limits, so deeper reporting means another edition for every seat.
Cheaper only if you commit
Enterprise is A$60.50 a user a month on an annual plan and A$77 paid monthly, so the lower rate means paying for the year up front.
Getting out, module by module
Zoho's help centre exports one module at a time, up to 200,000 records in CSV, with notes as a separate export and attachments only in a full backup.
What you get instead
The Enterprise features, worked from your own records
Routing
Territories without the upgrade
New leads go to the right patch the moment they arrive, and a lead nobody has touched in three days is named on the attention list.
- check Every unassigned lead goes to the rep in its territory with the fewest open
- check Converting a lead creates the account, contact and deal together
- check Lead counts by rep and territory on request, no reporting hierarchy to configure
- check Rename a territory or redraw the boundaries by describing the change
Forecast
Each rep's quarter in one answer
Ask where the quarter stands and see closed won, weighted pipeline due inside the quarter, the shortfall and the days left, for every rep.
- check Weighted pipeline counts only deals due to close this quarter
- check Reps below 60% coverage are flagged while there is time to act
- check Win rates and cycle times worked out from what actually happened
- check Plain arithmetic on your own deals, not a prediction you cannot inspect
Rules
Approval-grade discipline on every deal
The checks a manager would approve by hand are built into the deal itself, written in plain words you can read and change.
- check No deal without a close date, and every stage change is kept
- check A won deal needs an amount and a lost deal needs a reason
- check Overdue close dates, deals with no next step and big deals resting on one contact, listed worst first
- check Opted-out contacts cannot be emailed, under Australia's Spam Act 2003 and New Zealand's UEMA 2007
Ownership
One database, any number of people
Managers, reps and the person who checks the pipeline once a month all work from the same records, and none of them is a licence.
- check Add a field or a stage by asking for it, with no sandbox or developer edition
- check Account briefs and forecast one-pagers printed under your logo
- check Open source under the MIT licence, nothing to renew
- check Your records stay in a database you control, exportable whenever you like

Switching
How to switch from Zoho CRM
A move like this usually involves exporting your records, mapping fields, and checking both systems side by side before you switch.
- 1
Export your Zoho records
Export the core sales records: accounts, contacts, leads and deals. Zoho exports one module at a time as CSV or XLSX, with CSV exports capped at 200,000 records per module. Export notes separately if you need them. Zoho lets you add fields from up to five linked modules, and a complete backup includes attachments. Check Zoho's help centre for the export options available to your account.
- 2
Map and load the data
Zoho files will not load untouched: Enterprise CRM's free import reads Salesforce exports out of the box, and Zoho uses different module and column names. Map the Zoho columns to Enterprise CRM's fields first. Claude Code can help with that, or Enterprise DNA can map and check each field. Load the mapped records into the database, and use a test run first if your import setup offers one.
- 3
Review import flags
Check every item the import flags, especially fields that did not map cleanly and records that did not come across. Compare the imported accounts, contacts, leads and deals with the Zoho exports, and check that relationships between records and any separately exported notes are in place. Fix mapping or export gaps before your team relies on the new database.
- 4
Run both systems together
Keep Zoho CRM and Enterprise CRM available side by side for a short period. Have the team use the new database for current sales work while you compare active deals, owners, next steps and key contact details against Zoho. Resolve any differences before making the new system your source of truth. How long you need depends on how much data and how many team routines you need to check.
- 5
Switch off Zoho CRM
Once the records and day-to-day work check out, stop updating Zoho CRM and use Enterprise CRM as your sales system. Keep a complete Zoho backup, including attachments if you need them, even after you switch. If your Zoho plan is billed annually, plan the move before the renewal invoice, since the lower rate depends on paying for the year up front.
Where the real effort goes
The main work is usually mapping your own fields and rules, reconnecting separate module exports, and choosing which notes, attachments and other history to bring over. The core records match, but Zoho's column names differ, so its exports need mapping before they load. If you use Zoho Campaigns or Desk, those are not included in the free version today. Enterprise DNA maps and checks every field when it builds your version.

Questions
Instead of Zoho CRM, answered
Zoho is already cheap per user. Why would we move? expand_more
Because the price you see is rarely the edition you end up on. Territories, approvals and Zia's predictions are listed at Enterprise, deeper analysis at Ultimate, and every user moves up together. Here nobody is a licence, and territory routing, deal rules and quota coverage are part of the base.
Can our Zoho export go straight in? expand_more
Not untouched. The free version reads Salesforce exports out of the box, and Zoho names its modules and columns differently, calling opportunities Deals for a start. Claude Code can map the columns for you, or Enterprise DNA maps and checks every one when we build your version.
Zoho exports one module at a time. Do we lose the links between records? expand_more
Zoho's help centre exports each module separately and lets you add fields from up to five linked modules, with notes as their own export. Joining accounts, contacts, deals and notes back together from those files is part of what Enterprise DNA does when it moves you across.
We use Zoho Campaigns and Desk as well. What happens to those? expand_more
The free version covers the sales side: accounts, contacts, leads, deals and forecasts. Email campaigns and a support desk are not in it today. When Enterprise DNA builds your version, the pieces you rely on can be added in your own format.
When is the right time to switch? expand_more
Before the annual plan renews. The lower Zoho rate depends on paying for the year up front, so we plan the move to finish before that invoice, and you keep a complete Zoho backup either way.
Stop climbing editions to reach your own pipeline
30 minutes with Sam. We look at which Zoho CRM edition you pay for, which of its features your team actually uses, and what your own version would need. If it fits, we build it and move your records before the renewal. If it does not, the free version is yours to keep.
