The play

Peec's path to $10 million ARR in 18 months on a cheap entry tier and fast proof-of-demand is a template, test a low-cost hook before building the full product.

Marius Meiners built Peec AI from zero to €10M ARR in under 18 months as a solo founder. The product is an AI search optimization tool with an €85 monthly self-serve tier at the bottom. He started with a 1.5-day prototype built on v0, showed it to potential customers, and collected eight signed letters of intent before writing more code. Six months in, he hit €1M ARR. He raised €7M along the way, but the growth came from a repeatable playbook, not just capital.

The model is simple. A cheap entry tier pulls people in without a sales call. Some of those users grow into bigger accounts. The letters of intent gave him proof that businesses would pay before he invested months building features no one wanted. That early validation let him move fast and stay focused on what mattered. According to the original interview, the speed came from keeping the product narrow and the go-to-market motion light.

This matters because most AI tools still pitch like enterprise software. Long sales cycles, custom demos, no price on the website. Peec shows you can grow faster by doing the opposite. Let people try it for less than a hundred euros a month, make onboarding fast, and let the product do the selling. If you are building an AI product or adding AI features to an existing business, this is a model worth studying. It is also the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, where you can test tools, track what works, and scale what converts without reinventing your stack every quarter. The lesson is not that every AI product should cost €85. It is that proving demand early, with a real price and real users, beats guessing in a vacuum.
