The play
A 10-person team hitting $60M ARR is the shape of proof your own AI-leverage story needs to match.
A ten-person company just went from $5 million to $60 million in annual recurring revenue in six months, then closed a $7.9 million seed round led by Index Ventures. Intelligence, which runs DesignArena, now serves 5.5 million users across more than 190 countries. The self-reported ARR figure is unaudited but lines up with what trade press confirmed the same day.
The numbers matter less for the absolute scale and more for the shape. Ten people supporting that kind of growth is a data point, not a blueprint. Intelligence builds model-evaluation infrastructure, so it’s not a direct comp for most service businesses. But the ratio shows what happens when a company automates the parts that used to need hiring. They didn’t add 50 support reps or a dozen account managers. They built systems that handle the load.
This is the same pattern showing up in companies using tools like the Omni Command Centre, where one person can manage workflows that used to need a team. The specifics change by industry, but the principle holds. If your product or service can run through repeatable logic, you can scale without linear headcount. That doesn’t mean zero humans. It means the humans focus on edge cases, strategy, and the work that actually needs judgment.
The takeaway isn’t that every business should aim for ten people at $60 million. It’s that the old assumptions about how many people you need per dollar of revenue are breaking. If you’re still planning headcount the way you did three years ago, you’re probably overbuilding. Look at where you’re adding people to handle volume, not complexity. That’s where the leverage sits.
