The play
Use $2,500 to $10,000 monthly AI service pricing as a benchmark, but demand verified call handling and revenue evidence.
Agent Agnes is selling a 24/7 AI phone-answering service for small and mid-sized businesses at $2,500 to $10,000 per month, plus a one-time setup fee. That range matters because it puts an AI receptionist, not a broad transformation programme, squarely into the sort of budget many operators already reserve for staff, agencies, or outsourced admin.
The company claims a 100% answer rate and an 18% increase in revenue captured. Those figures should be treated as marketing claims, not established benchmarks. Agent Agnes hasn’t disclosed third-party verification or a customer count. Still, the pricing is useful market evidence. It suggests buyers are willing to pay meaningful monthly fees when AI is tied to a narrow, visible business problem, such as missed calls, slow follow-up, and leads lost outside business hours. You can see the offer on Agent Agnes’s website.
For owners, the question isn’t whether an AI agent can answer every call. It’s whether missed calls are costing enough that a managed AI service earns its place in the P&L. Start with your call volume, unanswered-call rate, average lead value, and the percentage of calls that need a human. If the economics work, this is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, where phone, customer, sales, and operational signals can be monitored together rather than treated as another disconnected tool.
