The play
Use regulated-industry bundles as a benchmark for governance, connectors, and skills your financial or legal workflows would require.
Google Cloud has packaged Gemini Enterprise for two sectors where generic AI pilots often stall, financial services and legal. The offer combines a managed Financial Research agent, more than 50 role-specific skills, connectors for enterprise data, and access to third-party agents.
In plain terms, Google is trying to make AI easier to deploy inside companies that have complex data, strict controls, and specialist workflows. A bank or law firm does not just need a chatbot that can draft an email. It needs AI that can work with approved internal information, support defined tasks, and fit into the systems people already use. The managed research agent is especially relevant for finance teams that spend large amounts of time gathering, checking, and summarising information before a decision can be made.
CME Group and Deutsche Bank are already live, according to Google, joining regulated-industry customers including BNY, Citi Wealth, Lloyds and Macquarie. That does not mean every financial or legal business should rush to buy this package. It does show the market is moving beyond broad AI demonstrations towards pre-built, governed tools for specific roles.
For operators, the question is not whether you need 50 AI skills. It is which three repeatable, high-value workflows are currently slowed by research, document handling, internal knowledge search, or review. This is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, with the focus on connecting useful AI work to your actual data, people, and operating process.
