The play

Add scored, exportable agent tests to client engagements, creating evidence for quality, repeatability, and governance before deployment.

Claude Code has introduced claude plugin eval, a feature that produces scored JSON and HTML reports for plugin evaluations, alongside controls for workflow concurrency. You can see the reported feature details in the original post.

That may sound like a technical release, but the commercial implication is straightforward. Agencies and service firms building AI agents for clients need more than a demo that works once. They need a repeatable way to test an agent, record what happened, compare results over time, and show the client that controls are in place.

A scored report gives a client-facing artefact. JSON can feed internal dashboards or reporting processes. HTML gives a format that non-technical stakeholders can review. Concurrency controls matter too, because agent workflows can behave differently when several tasks run at once. If you are responsible for delivery, that is not an edge case. It is part of proving the work is dependable enough to use.

This points toward a more productised model for agent services. The value is not only in building an agent. It is in packaging build, testing, evidence, monitoring, and governance into something a client can buy with clearer expectations. This is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, where operational evidence matters as much as the agent itself.
