Instead of Bionic

Stop renting Bionic. Own your media planning desk.

We build your version around how your agency plans, checks and reconciles media. We map your Bionic exports, bring the agreed records across and run your version for you.

Bionic lists US$995 a month for its five-unit example, or US$11,940 over twelve months. Your quote depends on users, integrations and media spend.

Plan

Keep each flight distinct

One campaign holds the client brief, budget and currency. Each flight keeps its own dates, program and planned cost.

  • check Separate flight lines survive the import
  • check Dates must fit inside the campaign
  • check Changed plans need fresh internal approval
  • check Campaign budgets are checked without mixing currencies

Delivery

See spend with its evidence date

Compare daily delivery with an even daily plan, and see when the actuals were last refreshed.

  • check A visible warning for stale or missing actuals
  • check Channel totals kept within each currency
  • check Corrected daily figures retain the previous record in the history

Switching

How to switch from Bionic

A move usually involves exporting planned flight records, mapping your fields, checking the imported costs, then running both systems side by side before you switch.

  1. 1

    Export your plan

Export the Bionic Media Plan Worksheet's Data Sheet, or a CSV saved from it. The importer uses that worksheet data to bring in planned flight records, including each line identity and its original source row. If you cannot find the export option, check with Bionic about what your account allows and the exact export steps.

  2. 2

    Preview, then load

Create the campaign you want to use, then run an import preview before loading the records. Review what the preview will bring in and check that it looks like the worksheet you exported. Once the preview is right, run the import without the preview step. This gives you a chance to catch mapping issues before they become part of the working plan.

  3. 3

    Check and reconcile

Review the import preview and note headings or grouped packages that need explicit mapping. Then compare the imported flight count and planned net costs with the Bionic source. The import covers planned net media costs, not a full account restore. Actuals, invoices, claim evidence, signatures and permissions need separate entry or migration work, so agree what you need to bring across.

  4. 4

    Run both side by side

Keep Bionic available while you use the new database and Claude Code alongside it for a short period. Check that planned records still match, and confirm your team can follow its working process in the new setup. Use this period to identify anything missed in the import or mapping. Do not treat the new records as complete until you have reconciled them against the source.

  5. 5

    Switch off Bionic

Once you have checked the plan and agreed what happens to records outside the import, move your team to the new setup and stop using Bionic for the work you have moved. Finish any separate entry or migration you need for actuals, invoices, claims, approvals or permissions. Keep only the source records and access you still need under your own retention practices.

construction

Where the real effort goes

The main work is usually mapping your own worksheet headings, fields and commercial rules, then deciding which history to bring beyond planned flight records. Actuals, invoices, claims, signatures and permissions require separate entry or migration work. If you have Enterprise DNA run it, they map your Bionic exports, agree that scope with you and reconcile the imported costs.

Questions

Instead of Bionic, answered

What will move across from Bionic? expand_more

The free version imports the campaign worksheet as planned flight records, keeping each line identity and the original source row. Different headings need an explicit mapping. Actuals, invoices, claim evidence and approvals need separate entry or migration work. We agree that scope and reconcile the imported costs with you.

Will it buy media or launch our ads? expand_more

The free base handles planning records and local document drafts. It does not book suppliers or launch ads. We scope the buying connections, client screens and approval process your own version needs before you switch.

Can we trust the spend comparison? expand_more

It compares recorded daily spend with an even daily plan and shows whether the actuals are current. It keeps currencies separate and compares net media costs. Your team checks the delivery source, fees and tax treatment before making a financial decision.

Does the evidence check approve an advertisement? expand_more

It checks that a claim has an evidence reference, a reviewer and a current review date. A person still evaluates the evidence and the advertisement. The review dates and internal approval rules belong to your business.

What does Enterprise DNA charge? expand_more

One setup fee, then a retainer for the agreed work. Sam looks at your current planning process, export and connections before defining the scope. The free version has no software licence fee; hosting and agent subscriptions have their own costs.

What would your own media desk look like?

Spend 30 minutes with Sam reviewing your Bionic bill, one campaign and the checks your team performs each week. We agree what to bring across, what to build around it and how to run it for you.
