Instead of Calxa
Stop renting Calxa. Own your group reporting.
We build your version around how your finance team reports, map the agreed Calxa exports and run it for you. Your reporting record stays in a database you own.
Calxa Enterprise lists A$1,980 per tenant per month including GST, or A$23,760 over twelve months. Implementation is charged separately.

What the subscription buys
A recurring bill around the group reporting work
Compare the Australian Enterprise plan with the consolidation work you need. The figure is a published plan price, not an observed customer invoice or the price of every Calxa subscription.
An annual tenant subscription
Enterprise is A$1,980 a month including GST. Twelve months is A$23,760 before the separate implementation charge.
Company and group reporting
Calxa provides group consolidation reporting. Your own version needs an agreed company scope and a mapping from each account to the group reporting lines.
Currency conversion
Calxa supports multi-currency groups. In this build, your approved rates stay beside the source figures so each conversion can be inspected.
Internal transaction treatment
Calxa documents methods of eliminating intercompany accounts. Your version keeps the matching schedule and the reviewed adjustment together.
A broader reporting suite
Calxa includes forecasting, dashboards and custom reports. Scope your replacement around the work the finance team actually uses.
The work of moving records
Calxa documents monthly actual and budget exports. Account mapping, currency policy and reconciliation are still decisions to make before switching.
What your version does
From company figures to a reviewed group pack
Sources
Know which company still owes its figures
Keep ownership and reconciliation beside the monthly balances.
- check A reporting deadline and named owner for every company
- check Actual and budget figures held separately
- check Original imported records kept with their source reference
- check Missing figures shown as unknown, with the final profit withheld when sources are incomplete
Mapping and currency
Explain how a local figure became a group figure
Inspect the account classification and the approved rate in the same review.
- check Each company account mapped to a group reporting line
- check Average, closing or historical rates chosen explicitly
- check Missing mappings and rates surfaced before reconciliation
- check A changed mapping or rate clears the earlier source signoff
Internal transactions
Keep eliminations with their working papers
Match internal balances, prepare the adjustment and record its review.
- check A company-by-company schedule of internal balances
- check Draft adjustments excluded from the reported actuals
- check Balanced entries posted by a reviewer different from the preparer
- check Corrections recorded through a reversal with the original retained
Period review
Put the unanswered questions beside the report
Bring the figures, source evidence and unfinished work into one management review.
- check Actual-versus-budget differences by group account
- check Open actions with owners and dates
- check A period lock blocked by unresolved checks
- check A branded management pack and elimination working paper from the current record

Ten questions for your group review
These questions have working answers in the demonstration. They show this build’s scope, without claiming that Calxa cannot answer them.
Switching
How to move the group reporting workflow
Start with one reviewed period and reconcile the agreed scope before changing how the team works.
- 1
Export a company’s monthly records
Use Calxa’s budget and actual export to obtain an organisation-level monthly CSV. Keep the original and repeat for each company and budget version you need.
- 2
Confirm what the amounts mean
Check account identities, positive and negative signs, and whether balance-sheet figures are closing balances. Prepare a reconciled copy where the source format differs.
- 3
Test the import and mapping
Set up the company and reporting periods, then do a test run. Review the account mapping and currency policy before saving the records.
- 4
Reconcile a full reporting period
Compare the source figures, currency conversions and internal adjustments with your current pack. Resolve open actions and have the finance owner review the result.
- 5
Agree the operating handover
Confirm the record scope, backups, access and ongoing support. Keep the current system available until the agreed reporting work is working and reconciled.
Where the real effort goes
The import is one part of the move. Group scope, account mapping, source conventions and finance review determine the preparation needed. Enterprise DNA includes that work in the agreed installation.

Questions
Instead of Calxa, answered
Does the free version replace every part of Calxa? expand_more
The free version covers group management consolidation, account mapping, approved currency rates, elimination working papers and period reviews. Enterprise DNA scopes forecasting, connections, access controls and reporting design around what your team uses before proposing a replacement.
What can we bring across from Calxa? expand_more
Calxa documents monthly actual and budget exports. The free import accepts organisation-level monthly CSVs after the companies and periods are set up. Signs, balance-sheet basis and account mapping need checking. Enterprise DNA handles the agreed preparation and reconciliation when building your version.
Can it produce our statutory consolidated accounts? expand_more
The supplied pack is for management review. Your finance adviser sets the ownership, accounting and translation policies. Statutory disclosures, acquisition accounting and minority interests require separately agreed work before they form part of your version.
What happens if a rate is missing or someone corrects a figure? expand_more
Missing figures and rates stay visible. Source gaps withhold the final profit, and unresolved checks prevent the period being locked. Corrections retain the earlier value and require source review again. A posted adjustment is corrected through a recorded reversal.
Who maintains it, and what does Enterprise DNA charge? expand_more
You can maintain the free version yourself. Enterprise DNA customises and operates your agreed version for one setup fee, then a retainer. We agree the migration, connections, team access and support scope with you. Your records remain in a database you own.
