Instead of CloudLogic DMS
On CloudLogic DMS and paying for every add-on? Own your dealership system.
We build your version around how your yard trades, reconditions and sells, with your state's paperwork in it, bring your CloudLogic stock and customers across, and keep it running for you.
Indiqator publishes no price for CloudLogic DMS: the subscription is quoted privately, and PPSR checks, Car History reports and Queensland rego processing through DAIS are add-ons on top, with PPSR and Car History charged per check.

How the CloudLogic bill is put together
A quoted subscription, then a charge each time you check a car
Indiqator does not list a price for CloudLogic, so the number depends on the quote your dealership was given. What the vendor page does show is how the extras are charged: per PPSR search and per history report, with rego work in a separate add-on.
No price list to compare against
The subscription is agreed in a private quote. Two yards of the same size can pay different amounts, and you cannot check yours against a public figure.
PPSR and history reports billed per check
Encumbrance, write-off, stolen and odometer checks are optional add-ons charged on consumption from the stock card. Every trade-in you check is another line on the bill.
Queensland rego work as a separate add-on
Registrations, transfers, cancellations and acquisitions through DAIS sit in their own add-on rather than the base system.
Advertising feeds through sister products
Sending stock to the listing sites runs through SmartPublisher, with three destinations in the standard option, and dealer websites through Radius. Finance and insurance is another product again, FinanceConnect.
An owner that changed twice in a decade
Dealer Solutions went to Cox Automotive, then in 2025 to a Canadian software group, and became Indiqator. Whoever owns the vendor decides the roadmap and the price at renewal.
Getting your history out is not described
The vendor page covers onboarding but says nothing about exporting your stock, buyers and sales. Here those records sit in a database you hold from day one.
What your yard runs on instead
Buy, recondition, sell and account for every unit, on records you keep
Stock
Each unit's true cost, not just its sticker
Purchase price, recon and other costs land against the vehicle, so margin is worked out on what the unit actually cost you.
- check Ask which units are past your aged line and see the floorplan interest each has run up
- check Workshop prep on your own stock counts as cost on that vehicle, never as a customer invoice
- check An odometer reading is required before a unit goes into stock
Sales
Checks that sit in the path of the sale
No sale can finish until the checks are on record, and every check names the rule behind it.
- check No handover until a PPSR search is on file and no security interest is left on the vehicle
- check Deposits and settlements on record, and every lost sale keeps its reason
- check The checks in the free version follow New Zealand rules; your state's forms and rules are what we write into your version
Service
Repair orders on the same record as the yard
Customer jobs and internal recon share one list of repair orders, so the workshop and the sales desk read the same numbers.
- check Finished jobs with no invoice are named, with the amount still owing
- check A job will not close without notes on the work done
- check Past buyers who have not come back for a service are listed with their phone number
- check Gross per salesperson includes the recon, so it is the real gross
Ownership
One database, under your name, whoever owns the vendor
Plain records under the MIT licence, paperwork printed in your own brand, and no renewal quote to wait for.
- check Sale paperwork, statements and service histories come out under your business name and colours
- check Sales, invoices and costs go to your accountant or Xero in one export
- check Your aged line, floorplan rate and service reminder window are settings you change in a sentence
- check Add every salesperson and the bookkeeper without anyone being counted

Switching
How to switch from CloudLogic DMS
In practice, the move involves exporting your records, mapping fields, testing the import, checking the results and running both systems side by side before you switch.
- 1
Ask for your records
Indiqator’s published information does not describe a data export, so ask what your CloudLogic DMS account can provide. Request your stock, customer and sales records, and ask whether related reconditioning cost and invoice records are available too. Export what your account allows, usually as CSV or Excel, and check with CloudLogic DMS if you need help getting the data out.
- 2
Map and test the import
The columns in your CloudLogic DMS records will not necessarily match the ones the new system reads. Map the fields before loading the records, then run a test import first. The test gives you a chance to check how the records will be handled before they are added to the database. If you have Enterprise DNA run the system, they do this mapping with you.
- 3
Check what the import flags
Review the import results before relying on the new records. Check the rows it skips, any fields that do not match, and whether the stock, customer and sales details look right. The import identifies skipped rows, so follow up on each one and correct the source data or mapping where needed. Do not assume a record carried over just because the import finished.
- 4
Run both systems side by side
Keep CloudLogic DMS available for a short period while you use the new system. Compare key stock, customer and sales records between the two, and check that your team can find the information it needs in the new database. Keep existing dealership processes running while you confirm the records and rules you rely on are accounted for.
- 5
Switch off CloudLogic DMS
Once you have checked the imported records and your team is ready to work from the new system, make the new database your operating record and stop using CloudLogic DMS. Before closing or cancelling your CloudLogic access, confirm you have kept any records you still need and that the move has not left important dealership information behind.
Where the real effort goes
The real work is usually mapping your own fields and dealership rules, then deciding how much history to bring across. CloudLogic DMS does not publish its export options, so the available records depend on what your account can provide. If you have Enterprise DNA run the system, they handle the mapping and test import with you.

Questions
Instead of CloudLogic DMS, answered
CloudLogic has our state's forms built in. Does the free version? expand_more
No. The legal checks in the free version were written for New Zealand dealers. Your state's sale and purchase forms, and the rules your licence sits under, are what Enterprise DNA writes into your version, so they run as checks at the step where they apply.
We order PPSR and car history reports from the stock card. What happens to that? expand_more
The free version records that a PPSR search was done and blocks a handover without one, but does not order the search for you. Connecting the search so it runs from your own records, and storing the certificate against the vehicle, is part of the version we build.
How do we get our records out of CloudLogic? expand_more
Indiqator's page does not describe a data export, so ask them what your account can give you, ideally your stock, customer and sales lists as CSV. Those columns will not match the ones the free version reads, so mapping them is part of what we do, with a test run first.
We do Queensland rego transfers through DAIS. Can that carry on? expand_more
Your rego work can keep going the way it does now while you switch. Whether and how it connects to your new system is something we look at with you on the call, based on what your dealership processes each week.
Does my team have to learn Claude Code? expand_more
No. Questions are asked in plain English, and in a managed setup we agree who asks for what and add simple screens where the yard or the workshop needs them.
Find out what your yard would look like on records you own
30 minutes with Sam. We look at what your CloudLogic quote and the per-check add-ons add up to, what your team uses every day, and what your own version would look like with your state's forms in it. If it fits, we build it and run it. If not, take the free version and try it yourself.
