Instead of Consignmate
Paying Consignmate per seat and per driver? Own your transport system.
We build your version around your customers' rate cards, your runs and the way your drivers close out a drop, bring your Consignmate records across, and run it for you.
Consignmate lists $199 a month for one user, $69 a month for each extra user, $29 a month for each driver on its app, $39 a month for each carrier link, and a $900 setup fee (AUD, ex GST).

How the bill adds up
A base plan, then a fee for each person and each link
Consignment volume is unlimited on Consignmate. The meter runs on headcount and connections instead: the office, the drivers and every carrier you swap freight with.
One login in the base plan
The $199 a month core plan covers a single user. A second person in dispatch or accounts is $69 a month more, which is $828 a year for each extra desk.
A monthly fee per driver
Every driver who needs the app to take a signature is $29 a month, $348 a year each. A fleet that grows by a driver grows the software bill too.
A fee per carrier you trade with
Each EDI link with an outside carrier is $39 a month, $468 a year. Subcontracting freight or taking work from another operator means another line.
A setup fee to sign up
A non-refundable $900 signup and setup fee applies.
Warehouse screens in the same box
Every user gets transport and warehouse management. A carrier with no racking and no stock still pays for a login shaped around both.
The screens it was built with
You read your business through the screens provided. A question like "which customers have three unsigned deliveries this week" has to fit one of them.
What you get instead
The transport office, in plain English
Bookings
Every job priced the moment it lands
Each booking is rated off that customer's own card or your standard tariff, and the list of what is late or unassigned is one question away.
- check Customer rate cards win over the standard tariff, and the rate used is recorded on the job
- check Jobs with no matching rate are flagged so nothing moves for nothing
- check Late against the required date, or booked and sitting on no run, in one list
- check Ask for any customer, lane or week in your own words, not just the report menu
Get paid
Signed deliveries become invoices, unsigned ones get chased
Freight that is delivered but not billed is cash sitting in the yard. The office sees it every morning, with the dollars against it.
- check A chase list of delivered jobs with no signature, oldest first, with the amount each one holds up
- check Billing refuses a job without a signed POD, so unsigned freight never lands on an invoice
- check One invoice per customer drafted from signed freight, the fuel levy shown on its own line
- check On-time, in-full rates per customer, ready for the quarterly review
Compliance
The rules of the road, checked against your records
Drivers, trucks and dangerous goods are checked against the rules before a run leaves, with the rule named each time.
- check A driver without the right endorsement cannot be put on a run carrying dangerous goods
- check A run cannot be loaded past the truck's rated payload
- check Driver hours checked against the work time limits, with breaches listed by day
- check Registration and inspection dates per truck, flagged before they lapse
Ownership
No fee per head, nothing to cancel
Your customers, jobs and rates sit in a database you own, and adding a dispatcher or a driver costs nothing in software.
- check Put the whole office on it with no extra user fee
- check Your invoices, con notes and run sheets carry your logo and your colours
- check Add a field, change a rule or rename a status by describing it
- check Open source under the MIT licence: nothing to cancel and no notice period

Switching
How to switch from Consignmate
A move involves exporting the records your account allows, mapping them to the new system, checking the imported data and running both systems side by side before you switch.
- 1
Export the records you need
Ask Consignmate what your account can export, since it does not publish a public guide to exporting records. Export your customers and jobs or consignment history, and any rate cards or other records you want to bring across if they are available. Check the available formats and records with Consignmate before you plan the move.
- 2
Load a test first
Use the import process for the free version and map Consignmate's columns to the fields it reads. The formats differ, so do not assume the files will load unchanged. If the import offers a test run, use it before loading the records for real. Bring across the history you have chosen, rather than treating every available export as an automatic fit.
- 3
Review the flagged records
Check the import results and review every row or field the process flags. Resolve mismatched columns and confirm that customer and consignment details have landed as expected. Pay particular attention to rates and older history you plan to rely on. If something is unclear, correct the mapping or the source data before you use the new system for live work.
- 4
Run both systems side by side
Keep Consignmate running while you use Freight Ops for Claude Code on new work for a short period. Compare the records and day-to-day steps that matter to your operation, including bookings, deliveries and billing. Use the overlap to find missing fields, rules or history before the new system becomes the source you rely on.
- 5
Switch off Consignmate
Once you have checked the imported records and are comfortable running live work in Freight Ops, make the new system your source for that work. Confirm you have retained any Consignmate records you still need, then arrange to end the Consignmate service. Keep the old system available until you have completed the checks and are ready to stop using it.
Where the real effort goes
The main work is usually mapping Consignmate's fields to the new system and deciding which history to bring across. Consignmate does not publish an export guide, and the columns differ, so the records you can download affect the mapping. If Enterprise DNA installs and runs your version, Enterprise DNA does this mapping work with you.

Questions
Instead of Consignmate, answered
Consignmate already gives my drivers an app with sign on glass. What happens to that? expand_more
The free version has no driver app. Signatures are recorded as a name and a time, entered by the office or brought in from whatever your drivers use. When Enterprise DNA builds your version, a driver app with signatures, photos and the day's run can be part of it, and there is no monthly charge per driver for the software.
Consignmate is not expensive. Why move? expand_more
For a one-person office it is cheap. The cost climbs with each extra user at $69 a month, each driver at $29 a month and each carrier link at $39 a month, so a growing fleet pays more every time it hires. Moving also puts your records in a database you own and lets you ask questions its screens do not cover.
Can I bring my Consignmate history across? expand_more
Yes, with some mapping. Consignmate does not publish a guide to exporting your records, so we start from whatever it lets you download. Its columns differ from the format the free version reads, so lining them up is part of what Enterprise DNA does when we set it up, or you can ask Claude Code to map them yourself.
We use the warehouse side of Consignmate too. Does this cover it? expand_more
No. The free version is for running freight: bookings, runs, deliveries, billing and compliance. If you hold stock for customers, tell us on the call, and we either build that into your version or keep the warehouse where it is and connect the two.
Does it send invoices to Xero or MYOB? expand_more
The free version drafts an invoice per customer from signed deliveries, in your brand, and you load it into your accounts yourself. In the version Enterprise DNA builds, we connect it to your accounting system so invoices go straight across.
Hire the next driver without adding to the software bill
Thirty minutes with Sam. We go through what Consignmate costs you today across users, drivers and carrier links, what your office actually uses, and what your own version would look like. If it fits, we build it and run it. If it does not, the free version is yours to keep.
