What Fleetio charges
Fleetio charges US$4, US$7 or US$10 per vehicle a month depending on the plan, billed annually with a five-vehicle minimum. The total moves with every vehicle you add, and features such as work orders, parts and purchase orders sit behind the higher plans.
Essential
US$4 per vehicle a month (US$5 billed monthly)
Billed annually with a five-vehicle minimum, and lists no custom fields, with work orders not included.
Professional
US$7 per vehicle a month billed annually
Works out at US$84 per vehicle a year, with work orders and parts records listed as limited.
Premium
US$10 per vehicle a month billed annually
Comes to US$120 per vehicle a year, the plan where work orders, parts markup and purchase orders are unlocked.
How the bill is built
A charge for every vehicle
Each plan is priced per vehicle per month. Add a trailer, a forklift or a spare ute and the bill moves with it straight away. Professional alone works out at US$84 per vehicle a year, before you count anything else on the fleet.
Work orders held back a plan
Fleetio lists work orders as not included on Essential and limited on Professional. Labour clock in and out, custom work order status and parts markup are listed on Premium only, the top and most expensive tier.
Parts and purchase orders on top plan
Parts records start on Professional, marked limited there rather than fully included. Purchase orders are listed on Premium only, so a fleet wanting full parts and ordering control is pushed toward the most expensive plan.
Custom fields rationed
Essential lists no custom fields at all. Professional allows up to 50. Unlimited custom fields and vehicle groups are kept for Premium, meaning how you shape your own records depends on which plan you are paying for.

Fleetio's own figures put the annual bill between US$2,500 and US$12,000 a year for a fleet of 30 to 100 vehicles, depending on plan and vehicle count. Premium alone comes to US$120 per vehicle a year. The total climbs every time a vehicle is added or a plan is upgraded, since every rate is billed annually and per vehicle rather than as one flat fee for the business.

Screens over records you never keep
Vehicles, service schedules, work orders, fuel, parts, renewals and costs all live inside Fleetio's screens rather than in something your business holds. You are paying, plan after plan, for access to a view of your own fleet information.
Features held back for higher plans
Work orders, parts, purchase orders and custom fields are rationed across Essential, Professional and Premium. To get the everyday tools a workshop actually needs, such as work order status or parts markup, you have to pay for the top plan.
Reminders built for another country
Fleetio lists NHTSA recalls and FMCSA-approved inspection templates, both US systems. A NZ or AU fleet still has to track WoF, CoF, rego and RUC by distance its own way, on top of whatever plan it is paying for.
