Instead of Impartner PRM

Stop renting Impartner PRM. Own your partner program.

We build your version around your tiers, your registration rules and your MDF process, bring your Impartner partners, people and deal registrations across, and run it for you. Your channel team gets the decisions; your partners get answers on time.

Impartner lists Impartner PRM on AWS Marketplace at US$25,000 to US$150,000 for a 12-month contract, depending on the edition, before implementation.

What the subscription covers

A yearly contract priced by edition

Impartner sells its partner platform as a 12-month contract in four editions. Here is what that fee pays for, and what most NZ and Australian partner programs actually run on it.

paid

US$25,000 a year to start

Emerge, the edition for early-stage programs, is US$25,000 for 12 months on AWS Marketplace. Ignite is US$45,000 and Pro is US$75,000.

trending_up

US$150,000 at the top

Enterprise is US$150,000 for 12 months. Ignite, Pro and Enterprise each list up to 500 partner accounts, with higher counts available.

hub

Built to sit beside your CRM

Every edition is listed as integrated with your Salesforce, Dynamics 365 or HubSpot instance. The partner program sits next to a CRM you already license.

api

An allowance on automation

Ignite, Pro and Enterprise include up to 2,000 API calls a month for workflows and integrations. The listing does not say what happens past that.

web

A portal on top of simple records

Much of what the platform shows partners is portal, content and training screens. Underneath, tiers, registrations and fund claims are records and approvals.

lock

Your program history in their platform

Tiers, registrations, fund claims and decisions live in Impartner. Leaving means exporting reports and rebuilding the program rules somewhere else.

What you own instead

From new partner to paid fund claim, in one place

Registrations

Decide every registration on time

Every deal registration is timed against your promise, checked against other partners and your own direct accounts, and protected for a set period once approved.

  • check Registrations waiting longer than your two-day promise
  • check Clashes caught by customer website or name, with Ltd, Pty and Group ignored
  • check Approving over a clash needs a reason, kept on the record
  • check Protection ending within 30 days, and lapsed ones closed off

Tiers

Know who has earned a tier, and who is slipping

Every active partner is checked against its tier on revenue over the last 12 months and certified people, today and again 60 days out.

  • check Partners below their tier and exactly what they are short
  • check Partners who have earned a move up and have not been told
  • check Certifications lapsing within 60 days and the tier they put at risk
  • check A drafted tier letter for every change

MDF

Marketing funds you can account for

Market development funds go from request to pre-approval, a claim with proof, approval by a second person and payment, inside each partner's allocation.

  • check No pre-approval past what is left in the fund
  • check Claims above the pre-approved amount flagged before anyone pays
  • check Leads, pipeline and revenue for every dollar of MDF paid
  • check A remittance advice for each payment, in your brand

Agreements

Partner terms that will stand up

Every partner has a current signed agreement, and the terms are checked against rules partner programs in New Zealand and Australia live under.

  • check Minimum resale price clauses, which competition law prohibits in both countries
  • check Standard terms with small business partners not reviewed since the unfair contract terms changes
  • check Funds paid to GST-registered partners with no tax invoice on file
  • check Partners with no current signed agreement, or one ending within 60 days

Switching

How to switch from Impartner PRM

A move usually involves exporting partner and deal records, matching your fields, checking a test import, and entering some program history separately.

  1. 1

    Export your records

Export partner accounts, partner users and deal registrations from Impartner reports, or export the same records from the CRM where Impartner syncs them. The available export path depends on your account, so check with Impartner if you are unsure. The public help is behind a customer login. Certifications, agreements, open fund claims and onboarding are not part of the import and need to be entered once.

  2. 2

    Load a test run

Load the report or CRM export as a test run before importing records for real. The import brings across partners, people and registrations, and tiers come across by name. Column headings differ between Impartner setups, so match your columns to the fields in the new system. Check dates and field matches before you proceed with the full import.

  3. 3

    Review the test results

Review anything the test run flags and resolve it before loading the records for real. Check that the partner accounts, users and registrations match the source records, and that the fields and dates have been interpreted as intended. If a column does not match, correct the mapping and run the test again. This is the point to catch problems before you rely on the new records.

  4. 4

    Run both systems briefly

After the import, keep Impartner PRM available while you check the same partner and registration records in the new system. Confirm that the information your team needs is present and that your team can handle incoming registrations during the overlap. If partners need a self-service portal, arrange a portal or form for the new system before switching over, since it has no web front end.

  5. 5

    Switch off Impartner PRM

Once your team has checked the imported records and is ready to run the program in the new system, make that system the place for new partner and deal activity. Keep any records you need for reference, then cancel or switch off Impartner PRM under your agreement. Confirm the end date and any account closure requirements with Impartner.

Where the real effort goes

The real work is usually matching your own field names and program rules, then deciding how much history to bring. Partners, people and registrations can be imported, but certifications, agreements, open fund claims and onboarding are entered once. If Enterprise DNA installs and runs the system for you, Enterprise DNA handles this mapping and migration work.

Questions

Instead of Impartner PRM, answered

Does this replace all of Impartner PRM? expand_more

It covers the program itself: tiers, partner people and certifications, agreements, deal registration with clash checks, partner revenue, market development funds and onboarding. Impartner also runs a partner-facing portal with content, training and co-branded marketing. If your partners need to serve themselves, we build a portal or form on the same database into your version before you switch.

Can we bring our Impartner data across? expand_more

Yes. Partner accounts, partner users and deal registrations come across from a report export, or from your CRM where Impartner keeps them in step, with a test run first. Column headings differ between Impartner setups, so matching yours is part of the work. Certifications, agreements and open fund claims are entered once.

How do partners register deals without a portal? expand_more

In the free version, registrations arrive by email or a form you already use, and your channel team logs each one in under a minute; the clash check and the decision clock start then. In the version we build and run, partners submit through a form of their own and nothing waits on retyping.

Will this keep our partner terms within the law? expand_more

It flags what a person should check: minimum resale price clauses, standard terms with small business partners not reviewed since the unfair contract terms changes in both countries, and funds paid without a tax invoice. Each check cites its source. It is a prompt for your lawyer or accountant, not legal advice.

What do we pay Enterprise DNA, and who owns it? expand_more

You own the database and your version of the system. The free version has no licence fee; hosting is yours. If we build and run it, there is one setup fee and then a monthly retainer. No edition, no partner count, no automation allowance.

Bring your partner list and your renewal date

Book 30 minutes with Sam. Bring your Impartner renewal and your tier rules. We will show you your partners against their tiers and the registrations waiting on you, using your own records, and agree what moves across.
