Instead of Salesforce Rebate Management
Stop renting Salesforce Rebate Management. Own your rebate system.
We build your version around the rebate agreements you actually sign, bring your Salesforce accounts, products and sales history across, and run it for you. Your finance team gets the accrual; your reps get the tier gaps.
Salesforce lists Rebate Management at AU$14,000 per org per month, billed annually: AU$168,000 a year, before the Manufacturing Cloud licences it requires.

What the subscription covers
A platform fee sized for a global manufacturer
Salesforce prices rebate management per org, per month, on an annual contract. Here is what that fee pays for, and what most NZ and Australian suppliers actually need from it.
AU$14,000 a month before anything else
The manufacturing edition is AU$14,000 per org per month, billed annually. The B2B edition is AU$22,000 a month. That is AU$168,000 or AU$264,000 a year at list.
Ten more licences to qualify
The manufacturing edition requires 10 or more Manufacturing Cloud licences. The rebate product sits on top of a Salesforce estate you also pay for.
A transaction allowance
The price includes 500,000 transactions a year. Each payout counts as 100 of them. More volume is an add-on bought by the term.
Support priced as a share
Premier support is 30% of net licence fees. The bigger the licence, the bigger the support bill.
Configuration you pay someone to change
Programs, benefit rules and calculation jobs are configured inside Salesforce. A new rebate structure is Salesforce configuration work.
Your rebate history in their platform
Agreements, payouts and adjustments live in Salesforce objects. Leaving means a data export and a rebuild of the rules somewhere else.
What you own instead

Tiers
Know who is close to the next tier
Every agreement shows what the customer has bought this period, the rate they have earned and the gap to the next tier, with buying group member stores rolled up.
- check Gap to the next tier for every customer, every period
- check Projected total at the current pace, so reps call before the quarter closes
- check What extra sales would earn at the next tier
- check Which member stores drive a buying group rebate
Settlement
Calculate once, approve twice
Each ended period is calculated from your sales, adjusted with a reason if needed, approved by a second person and only then paid.
- check Ended periods with no settlement, and how late they are
- check Approval by someone other than whoever calculated it
- check Payment and credit note references on every rebate paid
- check A rebate statement for the customer, in your brand
Month end
The accrual your accountant asks for
What you owe on rebates today: settled but unpaid, ended but not calculated, and earned so far in the open period, by currency.
- check One liability figure per agreement and per currency
- check A draft month-end journal
- check Rebates paid as a share of each account's sales over twelve months
- check Accounts on a live agreement that have stopped buying
Claims
Check every claim before you pay it
Customer claims and deductions are matched to the settlement they relate to. Anything without an agreement, or claiming more than was earned, is flagged.
- check Deductions with no agreement behind them
- check Claims for more than you calculated
- check A drafted reply that asks for the missing reference
- check Grocery agreements without signed terms, and Australian rebates paid without an adjustment note

Questions your rebate records answer
These run today on fictional records in the free version. Salesforce has its own reports; here you ask in plain English and the answer comes from records you own.
Switching
How to switch from Salesforce Rebate Management
A move involves exporting your Salesforce records, importing and checking them, re-entering agreement terms and comparing calculations before you stop using Salesforce.
- 1
Export the Salesforce records
Use Salesforce Data Export to export Account, Product2 and TransactionJournal. Salesforce provides a CSV file per object. These cover accounts, products and sales history, with buying group links included in the account data. Check that your export includes the records and fields you need before you start the import.
- 2
Load a test run
Start with the import’s test run before loading records for real. Then bring across your accounts, products and sales transactions. The test gives you a chance to review how the records will be handled before they are added. Once you are satisfied with the test, load the records and keep the original Salesforce data available for comparison.
- 3
Re-enter and verify terms
Program terms and tiers are re-entered rather than brought across by the import. Add the agreements and their tiers, then calculate a period that Salesforce has already paid. Compare the result with Salesforce’s paid amount. This gives you a practical check that the agreement details and sales data produce the expected rebate before you rely on the new system.
- 4
Run both systems together
Keep Salesforce and Rebates for Claude Code in use side by side for a short period. Compare the results for the same rebate periods, including a period Salesforce has already paid. Check differences before relying on the new calculations for payment or month-end accruals. Use this overlap to resolve any remaining questions about records, agreement terms or results.
- 5
Switch off Salesforce
Stop using Salesforce Rebate Management only after you have checked the imported records, re-entered terms and compared the calculations. Confirm that the rebate work you need to continue is being handled in the new system. Keep any Salesforce records you still need for reference in line with your own record-keeping requirements.
Where the real effort goes
The main work is usually mapping your own fields and rebate rules, then deciding how much sales and payment history to bring across. Accounts, products and sales history can import directly, but program terms and tiers need to be re-entered and checked against a paid period. If you have Enterprise DNA install and run it, Enterprise DNA does this migration work with you.

Questions
Instead of Salesforce Rebate Management, answered
Does this replace all of Salesforce Rebate Management? expand_more
It covers rebate agreements and tiers, calculation from your sales, approval, payment, the month-end accrual and customer claims. Salesforce also runs complex calculation jobs across very large transaction volumes and connects to the rest of your Salesforce estate. If you need those, we build them into your version before you switch.
Can we bring our Salesforce data across? expand_more
Yes. Salesforce exports a file per object. Accounts, buying group links, products and sales history import directly, with a test run first. Program terms and tiers are re-entered, then each one is proved by calculating a period Salesforce has already paid and comparing the amount.
Our rebates are more complicated than a few tiers. Will it cope? expand_more
The free version handles retrospective tiers on sales value or units, per-unit rates, growth over a baseline, buying groups and product categories. Stepped tiers, caps, product exclusions, freight rules and anything else in your agreements are what we build into your version.
How do we know the numbers are right? expand_more
Every settlement records the qualifying sales, the rate applied and who calculated and approved it, and the approver must be a different person. The rebate statement lists the qualifying sales by product, so a customer or auditor can check the arithmetic.
What do we pay Enterprise DNA, and who owns it? expand_more
You own the database and your version of the system. The free version has no licence fee; hosting is yours. If we build and run it, there is one setup fee and then a monthly retainer. No per-org fee, no transaction allowance, no seat count.
Bring your rebate agreements and your renewal date
Book 30 minutes with Sam. Bring your Salesforce renewal and two or three of your rebate agreements. We will show you your customers' tier gaps and your accrual on your own terms, and agree what moves across.
