How the bill is built
A fee for each student lesson
Teachworks adds a charge for every student in every lesson. The rate is US$0.32 on Starter, US$0.189 on Growth and US$0.065 on Premium. A group class with four students counts as four student lessons.
A monthly base fee
You pay the plan's base fee before lesson charges: US$16.49, US$47.99 or US$187.99 a month. Premium's base fees alone add up to US$2,255.88 over twelve months.
Prices are in US dollars
Teachworks charges subscription fees in US dollars. If your tutoring business is in Australia or New Zealand, the amount you pay in local currency moves with the exchange rate.
Branches and other extras
Premium includes five branch accounts, then each extra branch costs US$35 a month. One bulk email per student lesson each month is included, with additional emails charged at US$1 per 1,000. The API comes with Growth and Premium.
A year of Teachworks
What the bill adds up to yearly
Teachworks's stated annual bill is US$2,400 to US$4,600 a year at 800 to 3,000 lessons a month. Your total depends on the plan's monthly base fee and how many student lessons you teach, since each student in a lesson is charged. Subscription fees are in US dollars, so the amount in Australian or New Zealand dollars also moves with the exchange rate.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
A plan for your records
Your base fee pays for a plan to manage tutoring records and lessons. The listed plans include unlimited users, so the bill is not based on how many staff members use the system.
The lessons you teach
A large part of the bill follows student lessons, not just your monthly plan. Each student in a lesson counts separately, so a group class with four students is charged four times.
Plan access and extras
Your plan affects which services are included. The Teachworks API is available on Growth and Premium, while Premium includes five branch accounts. Extra branches and bulk emails beyond the included amount can add to the bill.

Questions
Teachworks pricing, answered
How does Teachworks work out the monthly charge? expand_more
Teachworks adds the plan's monthly base fee to a charge for each student in each lesson taught. Group classes count once for every student attending. The bill is made after each month, and any applicable charges for extra branches or bulk emails can add to it.
What annual cost should a tutoring centre expect? expand_more
Teachworks's stated annual bill is US$2,400 to US$4,600 a year at 800 to 3,000 lessons a month. Your own total depends on the plan and student lesson count. The subscription is charged in US dollars, so its equivalent in Australian or New Zealand dollars changes with the exchange rate.
Are Teachworks subscriptions charged in Australian or New Zealand dollars? expand_more
No. Teachworks charges subscription fees in US dollars. If your business pays from Australia or New Zealand, the local-currency amount moves with the exchange rate. The monthly base fee and student-lesson charges are both part of the bill.
