Instead of TrackTik
Stop renting TrackTik. Own your guard management system.
We build your version around your sites, your clients and the licensing rules you work under, bring your TrackTik sites, officers and rosters across and run it for you. Your office keeps every roster, every incident and every invoice.
TrackTik publishes no price. You get a quote built around how many sites you guard and which modules you run, so every site you win and every module you add moves the bill.

What the subscription charges for
The bill grows with every site you win
TrackTik is sold by Trackforce on a private quote. Its own pricing page says the quote is built around your site count and the modules you run. Compare that with your own guarding records, where a new site costs nothing to add.
A quote, never a price list
There is no published price to compare. You find out what TrackTik costs after a sales call.
Priced by the number of sites
The quote follows your site count. The more contracts you win, the more the software takes out of each one.
Modules on top of the basics
Tours and reporting are the starting point. Billing, payroll, business intelligence and visitor management are add-ons, each a line on the quote.
Paying for the screens
Much of what you rent is the officer app and the office dashboard. The records underneath are ordinary: sites, officers, licences, shifts, checkpoints and incidents.
The reports they chose to build
You see the dashboards the vendor decided to chart. Margin per hour by site, or licences that lapse before an officer's last rostered shift, depend on what the reports offer.
Your incident history in their cloud
Years of incident reports, patrol records and client reporting sit with the vendor, in a system you rent rather than own.
Your own guarding office
Start with what your office checks before every shift
Licences
Nobody rostered without a current licence
Every shift is checked against the officer's certificate or state licence for the whole shift, before anyone is put on it and again when they start.
- check New Zealand certificates of approval for 5 years and temporary ones for 3 months, as the Act sets them
- check Australian state licences for the state the site is in
- check Shifts after a licence lapses flagged weeks ahead, not on the night
- check A reminder to the officer drafted with the rule that applies
Cover
Who can take the shift, in one question
When an officer calls in sick, ask who can cover. Every officer is checked against licence, site induction, rest between shifts, shift length and weekly hours, and the best options come first.
- check Officers already on another shift ruled out, even across time zones
- check Subcontracted officers on New South Wales sites checked for the client's written agreement and notice
- check House rules like 10 hours rest set by you, and overridden only with a reason that is kept
- check A no-show opens a cover shift for the hours left
Incidents
Every incident reaches the right people
Log an incident with its police event number. A notifiable event points straight at WorkSafe or the state regulator, and nothing closes until the client has been told.
- check Incidents the client has not heard about raised after your contract's reporting window
- check Notifiable events not yet reported raised at the top of the list
- check An incident report for the client drafted from the officer's notes
- check Incidents per 100 hours worked, by site
Hours and money
Every hour worked, invoiced once
Each site's week is measured against its contract, and every worked shift goes on one invoice at the site's rate with the right GST for its country.
- check Sites short of their contracted hours this week
- check Worked hours not invoiced yet, by client
- check Margin per hour by site after officer pay
- check A monthly service report per client: hours, patrol completion and incidents

Questions answered from your guarding records
These examples combine your own records across every site and client at once. They are not a claim that TrackTik cannot produce a similar report.
Switching
How to switch from TrackTik
A move involves exporting your core records, mapping them into the database, checking the import and running both systems side by side before you switch.
- 1
Export your records
Use TrackTik reports to export your sites, employees and scheduled shifts. The import is designed for comma-separated files. Include employee licence numbers and expiry dates where your export provides them. Incident history and photos are not brought across by this import, so keep track of what you need from your TrackTik export. If you cannot find the reports or format you need, check with TrackTik.
- 2
Load a test run
Import the records in this order: sites, employees, then scheduled shifts. Start with the import’s dry run before loading the records for real. It lets you check the data before it is added. If your report uses different column headings, map those fields to the ones the import expects rather than changing records blindly.
- 3
Review import findings
Check what the import reports before you proceed. Repeat rows are skipped, and one bad row stops the whole file, so resolve any errors and run the file again as needed. Review the imported sites, employees and shifts against TrackTik, especially licence numbers, expiry dates and shift assignments. Imported shifts are checked against the same rules as new shifts.
- 4
Run both side by side
Keep TrackTik running while you use Guard Operations for Claude Code alongside it for a short period. Compare the sites, officers and scheduled shifts in both systems, and check that your team can work with the records in the database through Claude Code. The replacement has no web front end, so make sure the way you access and use it fits your office’s work before you switch.
- 5
Switch off TrackTik
Once you have checked the imported records and are ready to use the new system, stop relying on TrackTik for day-to-day operations. Keep the TrackTik export available for incident history and photos that were not imported. Confirm who in your office will maintain records and use Claude Code to work with them, since the replacement is a database and Claude Code rather than a web dashboard.
Where the real effort goes
The main work is usually mapping your own report headings, fields and operating rules, then deciding how much history to bring across. The import covers sites, employees and scheduled shifts, not incident history and photos. Allow time to review the records and resolve import errors before switching. If you have Enterprise DNA install and run it for you, Enterprise DNA handles this migration work.

Questions
Instead of TrackTik, answered
Does this replace everything TrackTik does? expand_more
The free version covers the office: clients, sites, officers and licences, the roster and cover, patrol checkpoints, incidents and invoices. It has no officer phone app, live patrol map or client login. Officers' sign-ons and scans are recorded by a supervisor, or we build your officers a phone screen on the same records.
Can we trust the licence and subcontracting checks? expand_more
Each check comes from a rule written down with its source: the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010 in New Zealand, each state's licensing law in Australia, and section 38A of the New South Wales Security Industry Act for subcontracting. Your office sees the rule behind every refusal. It is a records check, not legal advice.
What happens to the sites and rosters we already run in TrackTik? expand_more
Sites, employees with their licence numbers and expiry dates, and scheduled shifts come across from TrackTik report exports. Every imported shift goes through the same checks as a new one, so anyone rostered without a current licence shows up on the first day. Incident history and photos stay in your TrackTik export.
We guard sites in New Zealand and Australia. Will it handle both? expand_more
Yes. Each site runs on its own clock and its own rules: certificates of approval in New Zealand, the state licence where an Australian site is, GST at 15% or 10%, and invoices in the client's currency. One roster covers both.
What do we pay Enterprise DNA? expand_more
The code is free. A version built and run for your firm has one setup fee, then a retainer, with no charge per site or per officer. Sam reviews your TrackTik quote, your sites and the reports your clients expect before agreeing the scope.
Own the records behind every shift you guard
Take 30 minutes with Sam to go through your TrackTik quote, your sites and the licensing rules you work under. We map your operation and agree what your version needs before you change systems.
