The plans
What Zanda (Power Diary) charges
Zanda (Power Diary) charges a monthly subscription based on the plan you pick and the number of active practitioners using it. The Australian Growth plan starts at A$59 a month before practitioner additions and optional services such as messaging and extended telehealth are added on top.
Starter
A$29/month
The entry-level Australian plan, listed before introductory discounts.
Growth
A$59/month
The base plan used for the A$708 a year figure, listed before introductory discounts.
Additional practitioner
A$29/month
The Australian calculator's price for the first additional practitioner on Growth, before discounts.
Optional services (messaging, extended telehealth)
Quoted privately
These sit outside the base plan and practitioner charges and carry their own charging rules.
How the bill is built
A monthly base plan charge
Zanda charges a base subscription each month to keep Growth or Starter available. Growth's base price is A$59 a month, and paying it keeps the hosted appointment book, client records and reporting running for your practice.
Per practitioner additions
Beyond the base plan, Zanda adds a charge for each active practitioner. The Australian calculator lists A$29 a month for the first additional practitioner, so the bill grows as your practice adds clinicians.
Optional services billed separately
Messaging and extended telehealth sit outside the base and practitioner charges. Zanda gives these their own charging rules, so a practice using them pays more than the base plan and practitioner additions alone.
Introductory discounts wear off
The listed prices for Starter and Growth apply before introductory discounts. Once any discount period ends, the practice pays the full listed monthly rate for the base plan and each practitioner added.
A year of Zanda (Power Diary)
A$708 a year for the base alone
The Growth base plan alone comes to A$708 a year, from A$59 a month before discounts. That figure does not include practitioner additions, which add roughly A$29 a month each, or optional services such as messaging and extended telehealth, which carry their own charging rules. A practice with more than one practitioner and any add-on service will pay well above A$708 a year.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
Access to your own records
Your client profiles, session notes and appointment history sit inside Zanda's hosted system. The subscription is what keeps that history available to you and your practitioners month to month, rather than something you hold outright.
Practitioner seats, not the work itself
Each additional practitioner is billed separately from the base plan. You are paying per person for access to the same appointment book and client records, on top of whatever the base plan already covers.
Services priced outside the base plan
Messaging and extended telehealth are not included in the base or practitioner charges. Zanda prices them separately, so using them means paying more again for functions many practices treat as routine.
The owned alternative
Your own version, built and run for you
Enterprise DNA builds Psychology Practice for Claude Code around how your practice actually runs, using a database you own instead of a per-seat plan. It brings your Zanda (Power Diary) client list, sessions, invoices and receipts across, preserving originals as an archive, and runs the system for you for one setup fee then a monthly retainer. A free version exists too, which you can run yourself once you have set up access controls, hosting and backups.

Questions
Zanda (Power Diary) pricing, answered
How does Zanda's pricing scale as our practice grows? expand_more
Zanda's bill grows with each active practitioner you add on top of the base Growth or Starter price. The Australian calculator lists A$29 a month for the first additional practitioner, so a bigger clinical team means a bigger monthly charge before any optional services are added.
Are there charges beyond the base plan and practitioners? expand_more
Yes. Messaging and extended telehealth sit outside the base plan and practitioner additions and carry their own charging rules. It is worth checking which of these services your practice actually uses before comparing the total against another system.
Do the listed prices include introductory discounts? expand_more
No. The A$29 Starter and A$59 Growth base prices are listed before introductory discounts are applied. Once a discount period ends, the practice moves to the full listed monthly rate for the base plan and any practitioner additions.
