Anthropic and OpenAI are both scaling enterprise GTM through sector-specific partner networks

Anthropic's Claude Partner Network ($100M committed for 2026) landed UST and LTM systems-integrator alliances in the same 10-day window, OpenAI added.

Anthropic and OpenAI are both scaling enterprise GTM through sector-specific partner networks

Both Anthropic and OpenAI are building enterprise sales muscle the same way: through big partner networks that put their models in front of companies sector by sector. Anthropic just signed UST and LTM as systems integrators within ten days of each other, part of a $100 million commitment to its Claude Partner Network through 2026. OpenAI added ReliaQuest to its Daybreak Cyber Partner Program today, following the $150 million partner network it launched in June. The pattern is clear. Neither lab is waiting for enterprises to come knocking. They’re paying integrators to knock on the doors for them.

This matters because it changes how AI reaches your company. You’re less likely to buy Claude or GPT directly from the lab. You’re more likely to hear about it from an integrator who already works with you, who knows your sector, and who can wrap the model into a solution that fits your workflow. The labs get distribution without building industry-specific sales teams. The integrators get margin and a product to sell. You get a vendor who speaks your language, even if the underlying tech is the same foundation model everyone else is using.

The risk is that these integrators become gatekeepers. If your current IT partner is locked into one lab’s network, you might end up with Claude or GPT not because it’s the best fit, but because it’s what your partner sells. That’s not necessarily bad, but it’s worth knowing. When you’re evaluating AI tools, ask whether your integrator has a formal alliance with the vendor. If they do, ask what alternatives they considered and why they didn’t make the cut. The partnership announcement from UST frames this as bringing Claude to engineering and enterprise operations, which is exactly the kind of sector-specific pitch these networks enable. If you’re building your own AI stack and want to track which models fit which use cases without vendor lock-in, that’s the kind of thing we build into the Omni Command Centre.
