The play

Test a narrow SEO workflow internally before replacing an agency, and verify claimed traffic gains through independent analytics.

A solo Korean developer has released a Claude Code skill that automates SEO, answer engine optimisation, generative engine optimisation, and Naver-specific work. His pitch is blunt. It is meant to replace an SEO agency charging $400 to $2,500 a month.

The builder says one of his own products reached 1.54 million search impressions and 7,400 clicks in 30 days with no ad spend. The repository picked up 218 GitHub stars in a day. Those performance numbers are self-reported, not independently verified, so treat them as evidence of interest rather than proof that the tool will produce the same result for your business.

Still, the pattern matters. SEO agencies often sell repeatable work: keyword research, content briefs, technical checks, page updates, reporting, and now optimisation for AI search tools. AI can turn much of that into a documented workflow that a capable internal marketer, operator, or contractor can run at a lower cost. Naver support also shows how these tools may become more useful when they handle the quirks of a specific market, not just Google.

The question for owners is not whether to fire an agency tomorrow. It is whether you can clearly see what your agency does each month, which parts require judgement, and which parts are now process work that AI can handle. This is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, where repeatable external service work becomes visible, measurable, and easier to run internally.
