Three separate “awesome-jev” style repositories appeared within roughly 24 to 48 hours, each attempting to map the growing Jev decision-model ecosystem. They are drawing attention quickly, with reported growth rates of 137, 128 and 67 GitHub stars per day. One of the lists is available in the original repository.

That matters because curated lists usually show up when a new technical category is getting hard to track. People are trying to work out which tools, examples and building blocks are worth using. In this case, the interest is around cheap typed-decision routing, meaning systems that send a decision to the right model or process based on a defined decision type, rather than treating every request the same.

For an operator, don’t read GitHub stars as proof that a tool is ready for production. Read them as an early signal that a practical problem is attracting builders. If your team is using AI for repeatable decisions, such as classifying inbound requests, routing support work, checking documents or choosing next actions, this category may become relevant sooner than expected.

The useful question is simple: where are you currently paying for a large model to make a small, predictable decision? This is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, with routing rules, visibility and controls around which AI handles which task.
