The play
Use the workflow to prototype a competitor-inspired feature, but validate customer needs and avoid copying protected code, branding, or content.
A new set of free Claude skills lays out a step-by-step way to study an app, rebuild its features, test the result, and address complaints users have raised. The collection is MIT-licensed and has 360 stars, with a listed pace of 276 stars per day. Its GitHub page says the workflow covers planning the technical setup, rebuilding the design, adding functions such as payments, checking for bugs, and preparing a launch.
For an owner, the useful idea isn’t simply making a copy. One skill is designed to read real user reviews and turn recurring complaints into possible fixes and a different product angle. The creator says the tools rebuild functionality and user flows with fresh code and assets, not the original app’s code, branding, or content. The instructions also set boundaries around what can be examined, including no scraping behind a login or past a paywall. This is the kind of workflow we build into an AI command centre, connecting research, testing, and follow-up work into a process a team can manage.
