The play
Track rollout details and pricing, then pilot the interface with a small user group before changing customer-facing workflows.
OpenAI’s announcement describes GPT-6 as more than a new model. In ChatGPT, it adds “Intelligent UI,” which can put interactive elements such as diagrams, charts, forms, and buttons directly into a response. The format is meant to fit the question: a complex explanation might get an interactive diagram, while a straightforward question can still get plain text. Users can also ask ChatGPT to make a tool for a task, such as a calculator or bill splitter. You can see the details in OpenAI’s announcement.
The rollout starts with Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise, then expands to Free and Go the following day, according to OpenAI. Enterprise access depends on workplace admin settings. GPT-6 in ChatGPT uses Sol for the paid tiers and Luna for Free and Go. The announcement says this update applies to Chat, not the models powering Work or Codex. It doesn’t state pricing, so businesses shouldn’t assume what access will cost or what their teams can use before checking availability and admin settings.
For operators, the practical question is whether these interactive responses help staff understand information or complete routine tasks inside ChatGPT. OpenAI says the model can begin answering while it continues to think, and reports that GPT-6 Instant starts answering 44% sooner on average for web-search questions. These are OpenAI’s reported claims.
