HR Engage

It includes performance reviews, one-on-ones, feedback and learning.
HR Elite
Quoted privately

How the bill is built
Every employee is a charge
The plans are priced per user, so the bill rises with every hire. That includes casuals who work only a few shifts a month, not just full-time staff.
A ten-user minimum
Each HR plan bills at least 10 users. If your agreement sets a higher number, you are billed for that number even when fewer people are active.
Features sit in higher tiers
Performance reviews, one-on-ones, feedback and learning are in HR Engage, not HR Essentials. Goals, 360s and analytics sit in the quoted tier above HR Engage.
Add-ons and payroll
HR Advisory is $14 per employee a month and LMS Plus is $17, each with its own monthly minimum. Employment Unlimited includes payroll and is priced by quote. Managed payroll is another add-on.
A year of Employment Hero
A 60-person bill passes $20,000
A 60-person business on HR Engage with HR Advisory is past $20,000 a year before payroll. That example combines a per-user plan with a per-employee monthly add-on. HR Advisory and LMS Plus each have their own monthly minimum, and Employment Unlimited, the tier with payroll, is quoted privately.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
A screen over your records
An HR system holds employees, agreements, leave, reviews, tickets and policies. Most of what you pay for is the screen on top of those records, rather than the records themselves.
Features held for higher tiers
Performance reviews, one-on-ones, feedback and learning are in HR Engage, not HR Essentials. Goals, 360s and analytics are in the quoted tier above. The plan you need depends on which of those features you use.
Some details stay behind
Staff details come out through an import template filled with your employees. The signatures trail, workflows and settings stay behind when you leave, so the export does not carry all of your HR history and processes.
The owned alternative
An HR system built around your business
Enterprise DNA builds an HR version around how your business runs, brings your Employment Hero data across and runs it for you. Your records sit in a database you own, with no per-seat plan. You pay one setup fee, then a monthly retainer. There is also a free version you can run yourself in plain language.
