Instead of FYI
Stop renting FYI. Own your practice document system.
We build your version around how your practice files, reviews and chases, bring your FYI documents across and run it for you.
FYI lists Intermediate at A$30, Pro at A$50 and Elite at A$70 per user per month, excluding GST, with at least five users. Migration, onboarding and consulting are quoted separately.

The FYI bill
A per-user fee on top of files you already store
FYI charges every user every month, and the features a practice leans on most sit on the higher plans. List prices checked 7 October 2026, in Australian dollars, excluding GST.
Every user, every month
Intermediate is A$30, Pro A$50 and Elite A$70 per user per month. On Pro that is A$600 a year for each person, with at least five users.
Automation on the middle plan
Intermediate comes with a selection of sample automations. Custom automations, triggers and filters start on Pro.
Approvals and signatures on Pro
Approval workflows, scanned signatures and tracking client signatures are Pro features. So are the jobs board and the client portal.
Billing and reports on Elite
Time and billing, work in progress, reports, capacity planning and the form builder sit on Elite, at A$840 a year per user.
Setup quoted separately
Migration, onboarding and consulting are priced on top of the subscription.
The register over your files
Clients, years, categories and who filed what. That index is what you are paying for, and it lives in FYI, not with you.
Your practice, your rules
Run the practice week from one list
Client requests
Get what you need from clients, once
Every item you ask a client for stays on the list until the document that answers it is filed. Chasers go out on a rhythm you set.
- check See what each client owes you, how late it is and how often you have asked
- check One chaser per client listing everything outstanding, drafted for you to send
- check Jobs move to waiting on client and back on their own
- check A request list in your brand for each job, ready to attach
Review and signing
Nothing lodges without the paperwork
Each job type lists the documents it must hold. Drafts go to a named partner or manager for review, then to the client to sign.
- check See which required documents are final, filed but not final, or missing for any job
- check Refuse to mark a job lodged while a required document is missing
- check List work sitting with a reviewer for more than five days
- check List returns out with clients for signature, oldest first
Engagement and identity
Catch the gaps before the work starts
Engagement terms are recorded per client and per service. Identity checks are recorded per client with a risk rating.
- check List open jobs with no signed engagement terms for that service
- check List terms past their review date
- check List clients with open work and no identity check recorded
- check Draft an engagement letter from your own template
Retention
Keep what the law says, and no longer
Every document carries a keep-until date from its country: five years in Australia, seven in New Zealand, longer where you set it.
- check List documents past their date that a partner can decide on
- check Put a client on hold so nothing of theirs is ever disposed of
- check Record each disposal with who authorised it, and a certificate
- check Spot the same file filed twice by its fingerprint

Questions FYI Docs cannot answer
Every one of these is a real question the demo answers today. Yours will be different, and that is the point.
Bringing your history
How to switch from FYI
Export everything, preview the import, check it against FYI, then move.
- 1
Run the Bulk Export
Ask FYI Support to switch on Bulk Export. An FYI admin sets the folder structure to include client, year and category, then runs it to OneDrive or AWS. It runs overnight.
- 2
Bring your client list
Export your clients from your practice manager with codes, email, partner and manager, and add your staff first so names match.
- 3
Preview, then import
Do a test run first. It reports how many files, clients and categories it found and changes nothing. Then import for real; running it again adds nothing.
- 4
Check and cut over
Look up five clients you know well, find three documents from last week, settle duplicates, and put any client with a dispute or audit on hold. Then stop filing in FYI.

Questions
Instead of FYI Docs, answered
FYI is not that expensive. Why switch? expand_more
For many practices the subscription is not the reason. The reason is a register and workflow that follow how your practice files, reviews and chases, with records you hold and questions you can ask in plain words. Compare the full FYI bill with hosting and the work you want us to take on before deciding.
Where do our files go? expand_more
Nowhere new. Your files stay on your drive, SharePoint or OneDrive. This keeps the index: which client, year, category and job each file belongs to, where it lives, and a fingerprint so you can tell if it was changed.
How do we get our documents out of FYI? expand_more
FYI's Bulk Export copies the current version of every document into folders by client, year and category. FYI Support switches it on and an FYI admin runs it overnight. We read those folders straight into your register. FYI does not export earlier versions, web links or file notes, so save any you need first.
How do we file email without the Outlook add-in? expand_more
In the free version you save the email to the inbox folder and ask for it to be filed to the client. Unfiled email shows on the Monday list until someone does. Enterprise DNA builds an Outlook filing button into your version if your team wants one.
Does it check AML and engagement letters for us? expand_more
It records that an identity check happened, what was seen and the risk rating, and that engagement terms were signed for each service. It flags open work missing either. It does not verify anyone or give advice. Your own programme decides which clients and services are in scope.
Show Sam how your practice files, chases and signs off
In 30 minutes, walk Sam through how documents come in, how you chase clients and how a job gets reviewed and signed. We will map the version your practice needs and what it takes to bring your FYI documents across.
