Bain & Company becomes Anthropic's top-tier "Global Premier" implementation partner

Bain & Company has become Anthropic’s top-tier “Global Premier” implementation partner, putting Claude tools in the hands of its entire workforce. Staff will get access to Claude.ai, Cowork, Claude Code and Office plug-ins, while Bain works with clients on deploying Anthropic’s technology inside their businesses.

The early usage figures are notable, though they’re Bain’s own claims. The firm says more than 7,000 employees were actively using Claude within weeks. It also reports productivity gains of 30% to 50% on client work modernising legacy codebases. That’s a specific, practical use case. Old systems are expensive to maintain, poorly documented and often hard to change without introducing risk. If AI can help teams understand, update and test that code faster, the financial impact can be real.

The bigger signal is the partnership itself. Bain is another major consulting firm aligning closely with Anthropic, rather than treating OpenAI as the default enterprise AI provider. For business owners, this means Claude is likely to show up more often in AI recommendations, transformation projects and internal tool choices, particularly where companies need strong controls around how staff use AI with business data.
