The play
Evaluate device intelligence for fraud reduction if digital abuse, account takeover, or payment losses are costly.
Fingerprint says it has passed $50 million in annual recurring revenue from device-intelligence and fraud tools. It also reports that its customer base has grown 93% over two years to more than 6,000 organisations. Its platform is now tracking roughly one billion unique devices each month and processing more than 80 million real-time API events a day.
In plain terms, this business helps companies decide whether a person or device attempting to log in, open an account, make a payment, or claim a promotion looks legitimate. Device intelligence looks beyond a username or IP address. It can help spot patterns linked to repeat fraud, fake accounts, account takeover attempts, or users trying to bypass rules.
The business model matters. Fraud prevention is not a one-off software purchase. As transaction volumes rise and fraud tactics change, customers need the service running continuously. That creates recurring revenue and makes the product more valuable as it sees more device activity. The reported scale is also a signal that buyers are willing to pay for tools that reduce loss and friction at the same time.
For operators, the practical question is where identity and trust decisions are still manual in your business. New customer onboarding, refunds, promotions, password resets, and high-value orders are common weak points. This is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, bringing risk signals and operational decisions into one place rather than leaving teams to chase them across separate systems.
