The play

Review OAuth and backend integrations, replacing unofficial agent wiring with approved access or isolated workloads.

Google is reportedly suspending Antigravity and Gemini CLI accounts that connect third-party agent tools, including OpenClaw and OpenCode, to Google’s OAuth and backend systems. The important part is that this enforcement appears to include people paying for the $250-per-month AI Ultra plan. It can also affect Gemini CLI and Code Assist accounts because they sit behind the same enforcement layer.

For a business owner, the lesson is simple. Paying for an AI product does not necessarily give your team permission to connect it to every agent, wrapper, automation tool, or custom workflow they find online. Your staff may build something useful on top of a model, then lose access with little warning if the connection breaches the provider’s terms. That can interrupt development work, customer support workflows, reporting, or any internal process that has become dependent on it. The report is based on a discussion tracking the suspensions, so the full scope is still unclear.

Before rolling out agent tools, keep a record of which accounts, APIs, OAuth connections, and third-party tools are involved. Make sure someone owns the decision to approve them. This is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, so teams can see where their AI workflows depend on a provider and spot risks before an account suspension becomes an operational problem.
