Amazon blocks Meta's Muse shopping agent

Amazon is reportedly blocking Meta’s new Muse AI shopping agent from operating on Amazon.com. The report, covered by Forbes, is a clear example of the fight now taking shape between major platforms and AI agents that act on a customer’s behalf.

For business owners, the important point is not Meta versus Amazon. It’s that an AI agent may be able to find products, compare options, and help a customer buy, but only where the underlying platform allows it.
