The plans
What Canny charges
Canny Pro starts at US$79 a month when billed yearly, and the amount you pay depends on tracked users. Canny counts people with an attributed post, vote or comment, then moves you into a higher usage band if you exceed your allowance without a spending limit.
Pro
US$79 a month billed yearly
This is the starting price, while the published rate at 5,000 tracked users is US$1,079 a month on annual billing.
Business
Quoted privately
Business adds customer relationship and single sign-on connections, with pricing agreed privately.
How the bill is built
Tracked users
Canny counts a person as a tracked user when they have an attributed post, vote or comment. That means your bill follows the number of people participating in feedback, rather than the size of the team reviewing it.
Usage bands
If you exceed your allowance without a spending limit, Canny moves your account into the next usage band. As more people take part in feedback, your bill can rise even when your reviewing team stays the same size.
Spending limit
You can configure a spending limit, but reaching it has a consequence. Canny stops tracking feedback from new users until the limit changes, so the limit can restrict new participation.
Business connections
The Business plan adds customer relationship and single sign-on connections. Its pricing is agreed privately, so the cost of those connections is not shown as a public plan price.
A year of Canny
What Canny costs over a year
At 5,000 tracked users, Canny's published Pro rate on annual billing is US$1,079 a month, or US$12,948 a year. That is a published pricing scenario, not a verified customer invoice. Pro starts at US$79 a month billed yearly, but your bill depends on your tracked-user count and applicable usage band.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
Participation, not seats
Your bill reflects people with an attributed post, vote or comment. A growing feedback programme can raise the cost even if your team reviewing requests stays the same size.
Hosted feedback screens
Canny includes boards, a roadmap and a changelog. Your weekly decision process lives around those screens, so part of the subscription pays for a hosted place to collect and present feedback.
Connections on Business
Customer relationship and single sign-on connections are added on the Business plan. Pricing is agreed privately, so those connections come with a plan price you need to request rather than a published rate.
The owned alternative
Own your feedback system
Enterprise DNA builds Product Feedback around how your business reviews requests, brings your Canny data across and runs your version. It is a database you own, worked with in plain language, rather than another per-seat plan. Enterprise DNA charges one setup fee, then a monthly retainer. You can also run the free version yourself. The Canny Posts spreadsheet can be imported, while voters, comments and files need separate mapping.
Product Feedback for Claude Code
One setup fee, then a monthly retainer. No per-seat plans, no tiers, and the system is yours.

Questions
Canny pricing, answered
How much does Canny Pro cost for a year? expand_more
Canny Pro starts at US$79 a month billed yearly. At 5,000 tracked users, its published annual-billing rate is US$1,079 a month, or US$12,948 a year. That is a published scenario, not a verified customer invoice, and your tracked-user count affects the price.
Does Canny charge by team seat or tracked user? expand_more
Canny charges by tracked users, not by the number of people reviewing feedback. Anyone with an attributed post, vote or comment counts. A growing feedback programme can move you into a higher usage band even if your internal team stays the same size.
What happens when you reach Canny's spending limit? expand_more
When you reach the configured limit, Canny stops tracking feedback from new users until the limit changes. Without a spending limit, exceeding your allowance moves the account into the next usage band. The choice affects whether new participation is tracked or your account moves up a band.
