What the subscription buys
The bill follows access to your own operating knowledge
IT Glue packages documentation, access and connected tools into recurring plans. Compare the part your business uses with a documentation desk built around your own records.
A price for each user
Basic lists US$29, Select US$38 and Enterprise US$44 per user per month. The listed plans start at five users.
A multi-year commitment
Those published rates use a 36-month term. Check your existing agreement before planning a move.
An onboarding charge
IT Glue adds a one-time onboarding fee. The pricing page does not give a fixed amount for it.
Hosted operating knowledge
Organisation records and documentation live inside the service. Your owned version keeps the documentation desk in your own database.
Connected records
Enterprise lists unlimited integrations. We scope the connections your business needs separately from the free documentation register.
A migration to reconcile
Configuration records can move through an export. Related items and revision histories are excluded from IT Glue exports, so those need a separate evidence review.
What your version does
An operating record you can question and change
Recovery readiness
Know where the instructions stop
Join equipment criticality with the review status of its recovery procedures. Start the week with the gaps that need an owner.
- check Critical equipment without a currently reviewed procedure
- check Draft, revised and overdue instructions in one review list
- check Coverage grouped by site and accountable owner
- check A changed procedure requires a fresh review of its exact version
Dependencies
See the work affected by one device
Follow the relationships you have recorded before planning a change or handover. The answer follows your equipment and your service structure.
- check Direct equipment dependencies with a recorded reason
- check All recorded downstream equipment from a selected device
- check Circular dependencies rejected when recorded
- check Active equipment that still relies on archived records
Evidence
Keep the reason behind each status
Record completed checks, their evidence and the next review date. A blank record stays a visible gap.
- check Restore, inspection and handover results with dated evidence
- check Follow-up tasks with an owner and completion reference
- check Safeguard and retention review reminders with cited principles
- check A change history showing the operator declared for each entry
Your documentation desk
Make the next review fit your business
Your fields and rules belong to your system. Shape the questions around the way your team works instead of fitting the team around a fixed report.
- check Equipment and procedure search from one question
- check Branded handovers, review records and control reports
- check Read-only weekly, coverage and evidence views
- check Your own fields, review intervals and joined-record questions

Ten questions your documentation desk can answer
Each question runs against the demo records today. These combine your own records. They are not claims about the limits of custom IT Glue reports.
Switching
How to switch from IT Glue
A switch usually involves exporting one organisation's configuration records, mapping and checking the import, then validating the new register alongside IT Glue before you retire it.
- 1
Export one organisation
Export configuration records for one organisation from IT Glue as a CSV. This is the supported import path for the free register, not a full account archive. Keep the export limited to documentation fields you intend to bring across. Passwords and recovery credentials belong in a separate secure vault, not in the import.
- 2
Prepare and test the import
Set up the new register for the exact IT Glue organisation name, then match the CSV headings to the fields the import accepts. Run the offered test first. Review its counts and ignored fields before importing anything for real. The importer carries selected configuration fields only, so decide in advance which records and fields matter to your team.
- 3
Import and check the results
After the test looks right, run the import and reconcile its results. Review any issues the import reports, along with counts and ignored fields. Resolve mapping problems or conflicting source IDs before proceeding. The import rejects password exports and credential columns. It does not bring across related items, revision history, HTML documents or attachments, so rebuild required dependencies from verified evidence.
- 4
Run both side by side
Keep IT Glue available as your reference while you use the new register for a short overlap. Compare important equipment records, owners and key dates against the source, and verify that recovery procedures and dependencies you need are present or have been rebuilt from evidence. Record corrections as you find them. The overlap is for checking accuracy, not a promise of automatic synchronization between the two systems.
- 5
Switch off IT Glue
Switch off IT Glue only after the records you need have been checked and your responsible people know where to work next. Confirm that required dependencies and history have been handled separately, and keep credentials in your secure vault. The new register is not a full replacement for every IT Glue document type, attachment or account feature, so keep any material you still need available until you have a plan for it.
Where the real effort goes
The time usually goes into matching your own fields and review rules, checking which configuration data is useful, and deciding what history to recreate from verified evidence. IT Glue exports omit related items and revision histories, while documents and attachments need a planned migration. If you have Enterprise DNA install and run the register, they handle this mapping and migration work with you as part of the setup.

Questions
Instead of IT Glue, answered
What part of IT Glue does the free version cover? expand_more
It covers the documentation desk: equipment, owners, key dates, recovery procedures, dependencies and review evidence for one business and one trusted operator. We scope shared access, live connections and team screens into your custom version.
Can we bring our existing IT Glue records across? expand_more
Yes. The free import accepts selected configuration fields from an export for one organisation, after matching the column names. Other document types need a planned migration. IT Glue excludes related items and revision histories from its exports, so we rebuild those from verified evidence where required.
Where do our passwords and recovery credentials go? expand_more
Keep them in a separate secure vault. The documentation desk holds procedures and evidence references. It rejects password exports and credential columns. Full account archives do not belong in this import.
Does a green review mean a recovery procedure is safe? expand_more
It means the current version has a recorded human review that has not expired. Your responsible person still checks the procedure and performs recovery tests. Safeguard and retention reminders identify missing evidence. They do not certify compliance.
How do we compare the subscription with an owned version? expand_more
IT Glue Enterprise lists US$44 per user per month, or US$528 per user for twelve months, before onboarding and tax. The listed rate has a 36-month term. Enterprise DNA quotes one setup fee, then a retainer for your agreed build and ongoing service. The free base has no licence fee. Hosting and your chosen operating tools have their own costs.
