AI Pulse · Under the Radar
The play
Test lighter agent interfaces for internal power users before standardizing on heavier desktop workflows.
A small open-source project is drawing attention because it rebuilds the terminal interface around Claude Code in Rust. Called CometixCode, it uses the iocraft framework and reached 325 GitHub stars in its first day, according to the project repository.
This is unofficial, so it is not a product announcement from Anthropic. Still, the early response tells you something useful. Developers want AI coding agents in the command line, but they also care about the shell around the agent. The interface needs to feel quick, stay out of the way, and work comfortably in the tools they already use.
For business owners, this is a reminder that the value of AI is rarely just the model itself. Adoption often comes down to the practical layer, how staff access it, where it fits in their workflow, and whether it adds friction. A capable AI assistant that is awkward to use will sit idle. A simpler interface can change that.
This is the kind of thing we build into an AI command centre, giving teams a practical place to use AI without forcing them into a new and complicated way of working.
