Talk to Carmen at Redbarrow Insurance Group

Redbarrow Insurance Group is made up. Carmen is a real agent, set up the way we would set one up for you. Talk or type and ask what a client would ask. Bookings are pretend, so try anything.

The problem

After a hailstorm the claims inbox fills with clients asking where their claim is up to. Every reply means someone checking the insurer's portal and the file notes while new claims wait.

How it works

  1. Reads each email to the brokerage's claims inbox
  2. Matches the sender to their account and open claim
  3. Replies with the latest status, payments made and what happens next
  4. Forwards disputes and coverage questions to the claims advocate with a short summary
  5. Never says whether a claim will be paid, and never changes a claim

What it connects to

  • Agency management system
  • Insurer claim portals
  • Email (Outlook or Gmail)
Sample email thread
  1. ClientHi, any news on our warehouse roof claim? The roofer wants to know when the money is coming.
  2. AgentHi Greg, thanks for checking. Bellmoor approved the roof estimate of $418,000 on Thursday, less your $25,000 wind and hail deductible. The first payment of $312,000 was sent on Friday, and the remaining $81,000 is released once your roofer sends the final invoice to Bellmoor.
  3. ClientOK. The roofer also says the estimate missed the skylights. What should we do?
  4. AgentThat's one for Rachel Kim, our claims advocate. I've sent her your email with claim number BM-448217, and she'll call you at 4pm tomorrow to talk it through.

Illustrative conversation. Names, numbers and details are made up.

Capabilities used

  • Answers from your data. Looks up live records in your own database and systems, not just documents.
  • Human handoff. Transfers the call, books a callback or forwards the email when a person should take over.
  • Summaries. Every conversation ends with a written summary, a transcript and the next step.
