Totara Bay Motor Group is made up. Tess is a real agent, set up the way we would set one up for your team. Talk or type and ask what your staff would ask.

The problem
Dealerships move large payments for vehicles, trade-ins and transport every day, which makes them a target for fake invoices and bank detail changes. Staff aren't sure what to report, and when someone clicks a link on a Sunday at the yard, nobody hears about it until Monday.
How it works
- Takes reports by email, chat or phone at any hour
- Asks whether the person only received it, or clicked, opened or typed a password
- Tells them what to do straight away and logs the report
- Pages the on-call engineer within minutes when an account may be at risk
- Sends any request to change bank details to the financial controller to check by phone
What it connects to
- Jess (accounts)We've had an email from a vehicle transport company saying their bank account has changed. The invoice is for NZD 4,600.
- AgentThanks for checking, Jess. Did you click any links, open the attachment or reply?
- Jess (accounts)I opened the PDF but didn't click anything in it.
- AgentPlease don't pay it or reply. Forward it to it@totarabaymotors.example, then delete it. Bank detail changes are never made from an email, so I've sent it to Leanne Fraser to check with the transport company on the number we already hold.
- Jess (accounts)Is opening the PDF a problem?
- AgentOpening an attachment is treated as urgent. I've paged Sarah Lim, the on-call engineer, who will call you within about 15 minutes. Please stay off email until then. Your report is SEC-1209.
