Custom builds

One workflow, shipped inside your stack

A focused build delivered by Sam. We pick the workflow that pays for itself first, build it inside your tools, and hand it over running.

Single workflow to multi-week build. Scoped per outcome.

Why firms book a build

You know the workflow. You just need it built.

Most firms have at least one workflow that drains hours a week and is screaming to be automated. The question is who builds it, how, and to what standard.

Generic SaaS does not fit

Off-the-shelf tools cover 60% of the workflow and ignore the 40% that makes your firm yours. The gap is where the value lives.

Internal builds stall

Your team is great at the work, not at shipping new tools. A side project that needs a quiet Friday will sit on someone's laptop for months.

Agencies disappear after deploy

You can pay an agency to build it. You then own a thing nobody on your team can change. The first edge case kills it.

You have your own data and voice

Your firm has templates, tone, compliance language, and house style. A useful build respects all of it. A generic one writes like nobody at your firm.

Stack lock-in is real

You already pay for the tools you use. A new build should live inside that stack, not start a fresh subscription list. Integration is the point.

You need it to actually run on day one

A demo is not a deployment. The build has to ship into the workflow it is meant to fix and survive the second week, the new client, and the edge case.

What we build

The shapes a custom build usually takes

Every build is scoped to your firm and your stack. These are the recurring shapes we ship for professional and financial services teams.

01

Drafting and writing assistants

A first-draft engine for the work your team writes every day. Trained on your templates, your voice, your compliance language. Your people edit, do not start from a blank page.

02

Intake and triage bots

Capture inbound enquiries, sort them, summarise them, and route them to the right person with the right context already attached. Stops the inbox being the bottleneck.

03

Reporting and dashboards

Pull together the numbers your firm already has into a view the partners actually open. Power BI, Looker, or a custom dashboard wired into your CRM and accounting system.

04

Internal knowledge assistants

A chat layer over your firm's own documents, precedents, and notes. Lawyers, advisers, and brokers ask the question instead of digging through five folders.

05

Workflow automations

The plumbing between the tools you already pay for. Forms route into your CRM, summaries land in Slack, follow-ups schedule themselves. Less copy-paste, more output.

Client-facing portals and apps

A scoped web app for a real client-facing workflow. Login, data, document upload, status, comms. Branded as your firm, not as someone else's SaaS.

How a build runs

Four phases. Single workflow to multi-week.

Every build follows the same shape so you always know what you are paying for and what you are getting back. No scope creep, no mystery weeks.

01

Scope

A 30-min call with Sam to confirm the workflow, the desired outcome, the constraints, and the timeline. You get a written scope before any build work starts. No mystery, no scope creep.

02

Prototype

A working prototype in front of you fast. Wired to your data, shaped around your voice, running inside your stack. We agree what stays, what changes, what goes before we polish.

03

Build

Sam ships the production version. Built into the tools you already use, hardened against the edge cases that turned up in the prototype, and reviewed against the original scope.

04

Handover

A live walkthrough with the team that will use it. You leave with docs, recordings, credentials, and a short ongoing support window. The build is yours, not ours.

Worked example

What a recent build looked like

Boutique financial advisory firm, 2-week build

A client review and compliance assistant living inside their stack

Their advisers were spending half a day a week writing client review notes from scratch. The reviews were good, but the time was killing capacity. They wanted the first draft handled.

Two weeks later they had an assistant that drafts every client review note from the firm's own templates, pulls the right portfolio data, and respects their compliance checklist. The advisers now spend their week in front of clients instead of in front of templates, and the firm has the headroom to take on the kind of clients it was previously too thin to serve.

Pricing

Scoped per build, not per seat

A single-workflow build is tight and quick. A multi-week build is heavier and ships more surface area. We scope cost and timeline on the discovery call once we know which shape fits your firm.

FAQ

Common questions

How long does a build take?

A single-workflow build typically takes one to two weeks. A multi-workflow build runs longer, scoped per project. We confirm the exact timeline on the discovery call once we know the shape.

What stack do you work in?

Tool-agnostic. We work across OpenAI, Anthropic, Power BI, n8n, Supabase, Postgres, the major CRMs, and custom builds where it makes sense. If you have a stack already, we slot into it.

Will the build run inside our existing tools?

Yes. That is the point. Every build lives inside the tools your firm already pays for and your team already uses. We do not hand you another login unless that genuinely is the cleanest answer.

Who owns the build after handover?

You do. Code, prompts, configuration, and documentation are yours. We hand over credentials, recordings, and the rationale behind every decision. No vendor lock-in.

Do you also train our team to maintain it?

Yes. Handover includes a working session with the people on your team who will own the build day-to-day. If you want deeper training we can scope that as a separate workshop.

How is this different from the Omni Command Centre?

Custom builds are one-off and per-project. The Omni Command Centre is the ongoing managed retainer where we build, install, and run multiple workflows for you every month. Some firms start with a build and move into Omni once they want the whole operating layer managed for them.
